Oh my gosh. So as of last night I got to sing infront of an audience of over 7,000 people (a sold out concert) in the company of Josh Groban. I only got to sing a few measures with a handful (19) other kids but it was incredible!

I was expecting the fame to have gotten to his head but Josh is the most down to earth kind hearted person that I have ever met. I am so glad that I got the oppertunity to meet him and sing with him.

Our chorus, the twenty people who made the audition, had our own two large dressing rooms. We got to eat a gormet meal with the band and then were treated as vip's and escorted everywhere. We had our own security and everything. It was amazing. This was my frist time singing with this group, yet these people have sang with him three times now. But there is talk of a fourth show with him in the upcoming summer/spring.

Being on that stage and looking out on that many people was amazing. I was just a small part of it all but I am so thankful that I got to be a part of it. I don't think I've ever been happier and last night is seriously making me reconsider going into a musical career.

Sorry, I'm still on cloud nine from last night and just had to share this with the people I love or else I thought I'd burst.

Now that that is said and done -- I'd like to know what has been the best night of your life thus far?

Hmmm best night of my life thus far. You know, I have no idea!

I've had a lot of really nice moments, but I can't think of any off the top of my head that just absolutely took my breath away.

I guess the one that comes closest was my high school graduation...even though it wasn't *my* moment, it's one of the most memorable things about my life. Was my last real night with my high school friends, and there were a lot of boring speakers as is common for such things...but what makes it stand out is a guy I went to school with who had cancer and had been absent most of our senior year was able to graduate with us. He had to ride a golf cart out onto the football field cause he couldn't really walk. He was the last person to go up to get his diploma, and everyone in our class gave him a standing ovation. It was one of those moments where I felt like I was living in one of those feel-good movies. Really touching...especially since being able to do that was one of the goals he wanted to accomplish before he died.

I was just a witness to what I hope ended up being one of the best nights of his life, though. Am still waiting for my own breath-taking moment, I guess. biggrin.gif

I wouldn't say moment, but the best 42 seconds of my life was my first wrestling match. It felt like everything was moving in slow motion, Matrix-style. I rolled that kid so hardcore.

There's nothing that can really compare to that. No substance use, sexual exploit or thrill of any kind can come close to how I felt that afternoon.

Ah yes, everytime I see Righteous I think I coudln't be happier than that moment.

However, other than seeing boyfriends, girlfriends, lovers, and significant others Saturday night was still the best of my life.

I guess the best few nights of my life was the first few times I went to the Hungry years (a local rock night club)

For me it was the last night that me and my best friend/ex gf spent together. We hung out that night, watched the opening of the Olympics and called out all the gay athletes. Then we laid in my bed, kind of laying against each other in that "we are only friends but we have incredible sexual tension between us" kind of way. I read her stuff from some silly book and we laughed at each other for a few hours. Then we ended up at the bar together and it was a White Party (which means you wear white underwear and/or bra only) so we ran around all night in our bra's hitting on each other and other people. She got mad when I tried to pay her for a table dance with a video rental card. She felt she was worth more than that smile.gif So we danced all night and had the most awesome time. And I kissed her before I left at 2:30 am. And I mean really kissed her, one of those kisses you never forget kind of kisses.
She died at 3:15 am on her way home. I don't know if it would have been the best night of my life if that had not happened. But I am pretty sure that it would have been damn close anyway.

Every day is the best day of my life.

Actually, if I had to pick a set of days, I'd take Friday/Saturday. Spent the night with my boyfriend and it was just so beautiful to wake up in his arms. Nothing like that feeling, ever.

*adds another hug*

I think the best night of my life was the night I got together with my boyfriend Nick. We'd been getting closer all summer, and we were best friends having physical relations anyway. After spending Leeds festival together, walking around linking arms and hands like a couple, we went to the pub two nights after we got home. That night, after a lot of asking advice from a good friend of mine, we walked home to his house, and after a lot of hugging and talking, he told me he thought he could be in love with me *smiles* and I told him I felt the same.
Then, we made love, instead of just sleeping together, for the first time, and it was the most tender, heart-jerking feeling I'd ever felt. We've still never come close to that again.
That has to be the best night of my life. It's changed my life so much, and made me so much happier as well smile.gif

I think I've got two, so far.

The jazz concert of my senior year was amazing. There was never more emotion put into my singing than that night. The lights, the people, everything was memorable.

Being able to spend a few hours with someone I loved dearly. It was just about a week ago, but I can still play most of that time through my head and smile. I never felt more loved or wanted.
