I went to Adlestrop on the way back from the Rollright Circle. They have taken the railway station name board and put it up in a bus shelter. On a grey day it seemed a dreary little place.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of disappoinment?

Bits are but not all of it all the time.
The poet saw Adlestrop and made it part of our history because he was:-

A - A poet

B - It was a summer day and the birds were singing.

C - He probably felt good because he was on his way home

We saw it on a dreary day in the dreariest month.

You feeling down or something?

Oh, misty, where have you gonE?

I am here my child

We have been to darkest Cornwall twice and bought a conservatory while down there.

Most people come back with a stick of rock and some sea weed.

I have been debating whether or not to go to a transvestite ball.

I am size 16, they tell me and will look drab compared with the other glorious creatures. Should I go or not? It would be less trouble not to have weird friends, driving Goths and all that at my age - rediculous.

I have also been doing the paperwork to get my state pension in June 2005. That means I have, statistically speaking, two years to live. That's how long civil servants claim their pensions.

There are the tax forms to do now and so little life is left.

Maybe I should do the ball after all.
