Anyone heard from Pab lately? I suspect he's been abducted for revealing the problems with the email system in his teeny-tiny country. They're a law unto themselves, those governments.

Perhaps he's gone on an extended yodelling holiday.

He was lured into IRC a week or two back, for a short while at least, possibly by the mention of his name in the topic. As I understood it, he was experimenting with this "real-life" nonsense. Ssomething about being, and I quote, "way fackin' cool". Apart from that, haven't seen him for ages.

I believe Pab has got a 'proper' job, one where he has to be in a certain place at certain times and the like. Poor guy.

I miss him.

*sends hug vibes to pab*

Edit: Because this is in daft are you subliminally trying to make us put pab in amusing random situations and if so he's in a china shop playing matador!

Call me daft, but what teeny-tiny country are we talking about here?

Thought he was from Australia. No, hold on, that's that other bloke, the one who writes for an online 'zine.

*scratches head*

Ah, yeah, he's up to real life mostly and finding it all interesting like. Got a PM from him awhile ago. He's not dead yet! I think he's getting better! I think he's going for a walk.

Erm. Yeah. Doing Andorran things. Lurking in the forums. Got hella lot of work. Taking over the world. Taking out the garbage and the dry cleaners. You know, all the real life stuff I've heard so much about.

Heya peeps ...

I was meandering through the mountains and felt this sort of ... hug vibe ... thingy wash over me like a brace of vine-born monkeys with 'just married' tin cans trailing from their tails. And so I pop home to Matazone to see how it's doing, and scan jaqs posts for facetious comments.

Thanks for having me in your minds from time to time, I do the same for you lot. And yes, you're all right except for jaq (I must certainly did NOT take the dry cleaners out ... I'm married and I don't _care_ if she shags on the first date), and Mata in that I have not been abducted by the goverment yet, but the phone company did ask me for my CV a short while back, so I'm guessing none of them are mata freeks.

I have fallen for the trap of a regular income and one project I can concentrate on instead of having 24 clients all taking turns scewing up their comps and having new businesses to open that nead web-presence. Unfortunately I still have 3 projects to finish which are taking up weekends and evenings, and suck like they were trying to win the favours of a wind-test tunnel.

Also e-life was getting way too absorbing for any more good to come of it and so I've been swapping matazoneds for work hours. My bank manager doesn't burst out laughing every time he sees me anymore, and this is a good thing smile.gif .

I swing by here from time to time with the excuse of checking for PMs despite receiving an email notification when I do get one, just to see how it's all going. I may yet return to make sarcky comments and participate in flame wars despite myself. But apart from that I have gone the way of the Leo and slipped off the bottom of the coupon.

Lub to ya all

Just as another note, as it's on the same subject and probably interests the same people, did we ever work out just what happened to Finn? Furry bugger just disappeared. Went the way of the pab, you might say, except I haven't seen him for even longer.

Finn comes back occasionally, I saw him last week. I think he's still having computer issues possibly.
