Here's a great site for finding sattelite photos of places in the US. There is a world server somewhere, but the photos don't really get that close. It's fun to look at firend's houses from space smile.gif

DOUBLE EDIT: posted the site.

That's really, really cool... I found my town, and my street, but the problem is... all of the houses look the same around here.

I think Jonman had something similar to this awhile back, and just like that one it has where I live on the wrong side of the street.

Jonman posted that exact site awhile back...it's buried somewhere in daft. The site's still cool, though. And I amused myself this time with finding my old schools..hehe

I found one of those types of sites with still pictures untold eons ago, and the photo of my house included my cousin and I sunbathing in the backyard on a v. large orange blanket. It was extrodinarily creepy. The government is watching you the government is watching you the government is watching you.

*clears throat*

But it was somewhat cool at the same time. The photo of my old school demonstrates the extreme, how to say, "ghetto-ness" of the budget. We could only afford one football goalpost.

*sniggers*

Well, the "urban area" photos are the ones that get really up close.
That's the one good thing about living in the suburbs.
