Okay, so after a lot of hemming and hawing I've finally made my decision as to where I'm going to university.

I am kinda nervous about it but I've made my decision to go to.....

Boston University! laugh.gif

It seems like a great college -- the only problem is that due to the high number of applicants I am in their general studies college rather than the arts and sciences. This still works out because I have certain courses I have to take for premed -- but it might mess up my plans for going abroad.

In addition to this if I don't like the general studies college for my first two years there -- I can always request a transfer to another school.

Either way -- ready or not Boston, here I come!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited about it.

One of my friends found out the other day that she just got accepted to Leeds. Wow, I thought Boston was far away lol.

But I would love to go study abroad that'd be so cool!

Anyways, thanks for the nice comments! smile.gif

I'm feeling your pain on selecting a college, I was between to Illinois Institute of Technology or Columbia College Chicago. After going to the open house on Saturday I decided that Columbia is the college for me, because it is half the price of IIT and it has majors more geared at what I'm looking at.

Yay! Good for you. I've no idea what's in Boston, although I was reading some books published in Masachusetts earlier today, so I know the state has some great colleges in it!

Yeah Massachusetts does have some nice colleges. There tend to be a lot of really good schools in the north-eastern, new-england area. I've been doing some reading on Boston Univeristy lately and as far as liberal arts goes, they are in the first of four tiers in the country. I don't know much more about the tiers, but if you go to usnews.com you can find more about it.

Thanks again guys! I'm starting to get nervous tough! smile.gif unsure.gif smile.gif

Yay for you. I'm doing the college rounds this week, so I sympathize with all the stress. It's crazy. Good for you, I'm sure you'll love it there. New England's gorgeous, especially Boston. You can't go wrong with that.
