I love how people like to give quotes rather than answers. So entertaining.

Best thing in the world is entirely subjective. Petes rate highest, and musics, and family, but I enjoy Buffy too, and squishes and nuzzles and sweet tea and curry and stuff!

Silly topic. Shush.

despie my grousing, and depressive behavior, I have to admit that there are a few good things: Books, music, TV, Movies, comic books, and more... (What, you expect maybe rainbows and cute puppies? Blech!).

Speaking of rainbows, Quoth, I remember being on a train to London after a weekend with my aunt to clear my head. Well, I saw a double rainbow, which was beautiful. So that was definatly a good thing. It really lifted my spirits.

The feeling of independence that only comes from wandering a huge city where you don't speak the language and the accompaning discoveries, challenges and nifty kitsch to be found.

Also, books and cuddles and unexpected phone calls from friends and family are nice.
Getting pleasantly drunk with your best friend
Finding a $5 bill on the street even if you have a 20 in your wallet.
Mountains
The ocean
Body surfing or just jumping in the waves and shouting "WOO!"
Canadian national parks.
The internet
Kafka
Vonnegut
The warm, smokey, dirty smell you have after spending the week camping in the woods.
Listening to a yodelling concert in the men's room of an art gallery.
Friends
Family
Love
Ice Cream

I think that's it... I'll update if I think of anything else...

Good books (I have a whole bookcase of them, and I'm only about 5 years into actually being into books), the love you get from a cat when he/ she wants something- its the best biggrin.gif especially when they want your food..

An uncrowded, un-polluted beach in the evening with friends and a barbecue and a couple of guitars.

And fruit.

Those sisterly chats. Like an oasis amid a desert of arguments and such. It's so nice when you can tell all. I tell her stuff I don't even tell my friends. smile.gif

Warm heavy blankets
Rain
Long hugs
Music
Finishing a sewing project
Laying out fabric that's been cut strait
A cat coming and settling down on your bed
Feeling yourself falling asleep strait away
Clean ceilings.

Oh yes! How could I forget?! I love them too. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially if I'm hugging someone who I really like. Hugs are very special, I like hugging people. *hugs all round*

there're too many good things to narrow it down to just one, so, I'll just be really really general and just say all the little things happy.gif

Octopus are cool biggrin.gif
Today, the best thing in the world was finding a bong in my art teachers cupboard during my exam, after she had just come up to me and told me that my art was crap.

And I think that scythes are rather cool as you can use them to make hay (obviously grass is involved) and they make the cut grass smell but without the petrol-y smell.
And Frank Zappa's music.
