So, do *you* think that NASA astronauts really went to the moon?

I dont think it was mentiond in that artical but all the equipment from the moon landings is still up on the moon and they have rocks from the moon. (both of these have been independently corroborated) Also do you really think the thousands of people who worked on the moon landings (including some soviet spies) would all keep quiet?
Also the way the dust acts in the video is consistent with they way dust acts in a vacume and low gravity, it is simply not possible for act like that anywhere on earth

Wasn't some devastating disease discovered shortly after a moon rock was stolen?

Possibly. But devastating diseases are discovered all the time. I probably grazed my knee shortly after some was stolen, it doesn't mean that it was related!

Fake schmake. The sheer amount of raw science and engineering that not only went into the moon shot, but came out of the space race wasn't just magicked out of someone's bottom.

While I can understand that the US had a good motivation to win the space race, and therefore had a motive to fake the moon landings, the fact that the Soviets were only a year or two behind the US tends to suggest that it's perfectly feasible for technology of 1969 to land on the moon. The only reason the Soviet programme was cancelled is because there was no point once the US had been there already.

gothictheysay links a good article on it. It should also be added that they brought back Moon rocks. And a bunch of scientists examined them. Couldn't have faked those. I remember one scientist saying that it would have been less hassle to go to the Moon and get some rocks than it would have been to fake them.

I believe he moon is sterile (as in no life including single cell organisms) so I donít think that any diseases would come from moon rock. Although I could be wrong.

Given the exposure to the sun's radiation and the lack of atmosphere I think it's safe to say that anything that comes from the moon is probably sterile.

Well, it's not an issue of what potentially dangerous diseases were already ON the rock, it's more of an issue of how radiated the rock was and what it could've done to non-threatening diseases it came in contact with on earth...

Remember that the common cold is the most successful virus because it does not kill its inhabitant (viruses cannot feed on dead tissue). It has made that adaption, as have most bacteria. The radiation could completely distort the virus and make it incredibly deadly.

Yes, I have read the Andromena Strain. More science than fiction.
