I have just finnished trying to dye a army 95 shirt black with very little success, I think it may be treated to make it waterproof (but im not sure). I was just wondering does anyone have any advice on how I could dye it?

It depends on the fabric it's made from if it's manmade fibre it wont dye well and there's not a great deal you can do about it I'm afraid.

There are special dyes for manmade materials but they tend to be rather expensive and you tend to have to order them online unless you happen to have really awesome craft stores around where you live.
I do believe that RIT dye (which is probally what you used, no?) has some sort of solution that removes icky coatings and such. It would say so on the box.... I think if you look up 'fabric dyes' on google, you'd get a bunch of results -------------------- Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who dream by night

the label is to faded to see what fabrics its made of but it probably has some amount of man made fabric. -------------------- Rydhsys rag Kernow lemmyn!
