ok, so i thought this might be fun...

take your best shot kids. and im from america, so ill feel at home among rampid yelling and chants of "je-rry! je-rry! je-rry!"

the first one is quite self explanitory, the second is about a confusing boy who bought me a red rose in rome, then denyed my feelings for him, the third is about the Talmudic commentator, Rashi, who I hate, and the fourth is a really old poem that I am quite proud of.

::bang:: and theyre off!

Changing Room Blues

I cram
my hips
thighs
ass
into these pants
look at the label-
1
2
3
sizes bigger than last summer-
then im supposed to be.
think
rationialize
snap
at my mother, in her infinite wisdom
of fashion
so we walk
store
to store
to store
mabey I'll lose the weight.

unsure

I want heart achingly
back breakingly
sugar sweet
philosiphy ridden
sweep me off my feet
and leave me there,
love.

I want dress up
flower delivery
giggle
gafaw
two peices of a whole
sigh shiver
jump for the phone,
love.

I want stupidity
and blindness
and confusion
and clarity
and completion,
love.

I want ballad
serenade
hard core
pop
indie,
love.

I want get over this
fix my urge
find-out-what-the-hell-is-going-on,
love.

An Ode to Rashi

Rashi-
go away.
i cant muddle through
your commentaries,
you french know it all.
you plague my lists of material, smirking
at me through your invented letters.
go away Rashi-
you're not wanted
in the text of my
final notes
on the lists I make
on the web, avading
my mouse
Damnit, Rashi, go
commentate
on someone else's day!

Nighttime

Crystalline depth of succeeding darkness
A darkness full of hope
A blanket of stars for the sleeping sun
Who set ago with glory-filled colors
The moon, who longs for the days of pleasure
When it ran the life of mortals
The planets in their pin point dance
Around the world we dwell in
A much bigger one than
I

--------------------
I am thinking it's a sign
that the freckles in our eyes
are mirror images
and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned.

And I have to speculate
that God Himself did make
us into corresponding shapes
like puzzle pieces from the clay. . .
