Hey everyone!

Haven't been around in ages, but just wanted to tell everyone that, indeed, I am now married to my lovely wife, known on here as Artemisia. The wedding was on July 2, and went off wonderfully (with a few hitches here and there, but who can complain?) Jaw was one of our bridesmaids (in absentia, since she was in Bangkok at the time) but had a recorded message for us, which was lovely. Jicama on here was also one of our bridesmaids. It was exactly what we wanted. Artemisia looked gorgeous in her dress, and we had a fun time at the reception afterwards.

We then spent a month in Italy on our honeymoon, which was absolutely phenomenal. We met up with Jaq in Rome and had a blast there, (even though Rome kicked us in the ass a few times). I'm writing up what we did on our honeymoon on my livejournal, if anyone is interested. My username there is "tigersong" as well. I'll eventually getting around to writing up what happened at the wedding. Eventually, for those who know/care about me, I'll have pictures up on photobucket of the wedding and the honeymoon... but there's so much to do now that we're back in Canada, things are crazy busy (plus both my wife and I are sick with colds), so it'll be a while.

I just wanted to thank everyone who signed the card that Candice sent us. That was really really nice to get in the mail, and kind of exciting when we got back. A big thanks to Candice, too, for organizing/sending it. *hugs*

Congratulations and all that.

Being married to a fellow-forumite can have it's bizarre moments, when you realise that the 'how was your day' conversation after work revolves mainly around forum threads.

Congrates and glad you had a great day. The registra at my friends wedding made a comment which from what I know of you on the forum should be apropriate 'if there as much laughter and kisses as we've had for the ceromony for the rest of your lives you should be fine'. I thought it was a great centiment.

Congrats, again to you both. biggrin.gif

Ah yes...I remember trying to talk to my mum about the forums - of course I forgot to tell her I was talking about an online conversation and she was rather shocked when I went "And then CommieBastard said..."

I hope you have a wonderful life together guys. And as for talking to non forumites about you guys try explaining to a group of boring old farty techers why exactly you are going to nottingham- "So... you've never met these people...?" "well some of them I have" "and what are their names again?" "well there's sir pyscho sexy, wyvern, gerbil from hell..." you get the picture. Very funny staff room talk though. They think I'm strange now!!

Well I have to second that one Im afraid. tongue.gif

Anyways Congratulations!!!. Wishing you as many wonderful experiences in your future together, as there are baffled faces when forumites attempt to educate non forumites into the intricacies of our discussions and escapades...I think you should have quite a few in that case, although that may be a conservative estimate. wink.gif

Congrats! Many happy years together, and may any children you have behave like perfect angels (unlikely as that is with any child.) My family doesn't truly understand my posting insanity... oh well. At least I have the computer to myself most of the time. I'm new to posting here, but I've been reading the boards for a while. You gotta love the funny conversations. Anyway, many happy married years!

And muahahaha... My best friends are either 1) forumites already or 2) well aware I'm weird, so just smile and nod evil.gif
