Yup. I'm off to the US again! smile.gif I'm going to Chicago for a week in March to visit my Uncle and family (and my new 2nd cousin *beems*) and then I'm off to San Francisco in April with Ed for my 30th.

Anyone from this board from Chicago and can recommend good places to visit, eat, get tattooed? wink.gif

Do I find it slightly depressing and disturbing that someone from an island country many miles away will have visited cities in my own country which I have never even been near?

I do.

I've been to Disneyworld! That's all the culture I need! ph34r.gif

I went to Chic-A-Go Chrimble before last for a few days. I can't for the life of me remember where we ate, but we had some excellant sushi and some mediocre mexican food.

The Chicago Art Institute is pretty good if you're into that kind of thing.

Well I know that my friend Jason who did my tats lives there, but I have no clue where the tat parlor he works at is. With that said you should go to every tat parlor and ask for Jason who did eye tats on a girl named Laura in California, and then have him do tats for you and tell him I say hi. I'm kidding of course, but it would be cool to say we had tats done by the same person. lol

Hey there! Long time, no speak smile.gif Can you find out somehow? Would be cool smile.gif

I'd really like to get it done in Chicago but I'm aware that I don't want to choose just anywhere. I'm sure that they are all hygenic but I'd like a good recommendation. I did get a recommendation from Skin Deep but the place hasn't got back to me yet sad.gif

I can't actually refer to it now without saying that!! laugh.gif

This time next week I'll be there and I can't wait. I'm so looking forward to seeing my little 2nd cousin.

I couldn't organise getting a tat done while I was there so I'm going to get it done in San Fran where I got my dragon done (see avatar) smile.gif

Any hints and tips for a lone female traveller in a big scary city?? unsure.gif
