Well that's it. End of an era an' all that. Hurrah smile.gif If this wasn't a family board I'd swear my socks off in joy laugh.gif

I'm out of here in about 45 minutes never to return....unless I become self employed and they want me to do the books.....but only if I can be bothered that is biggrin.gif

Just to let you guys know that I might not be posting as much as the past month as I don't have broadband at home but I will check in what with the matazone meet coming up.

So a new era for moi.

Bring it on!!! biggrin.gif

Small amendment...

I now have a new job smile.gif I'm a part time temp for the NSPCC in Warrington. I start on Monday. The money isn't brilliant but I'm not doing it to make loads. I'm doing it to pay the bills before I go back to Uni in September. I'm hoping it'll be long long term temp but it depends when the lady who was doing the job comes back off maternity leave...if she even does unsure.gif

Still, it's a step in the right direction.

YAY smile.gif

Plus I have an interview for a 1 day a week job in Manchester at an art gallery on 6th April so fingers crossed for that

*uncrosses fingers as realises you can't type like that*

Yeah it was smile.gif

My first day today at my temp job. Very interesting and hopefully will stay so. Luckily it's only a temp job so if it doesn't work out I don't feel guilty about leaving smile.gif

A society that takes itself too seriously risks bottling up its tensions and treating every example of irreverence as a threat to its existence. Humour is one of the great solvents of democracy. It permits the ambiguities and contradictions of public life to be articulated in non-violent forms. It promotes diversity. It enables a multitude of discontents to be expressed in a myriad of spontaneous ways. It is an elixir of constitutional health. J. Ta biggrin.gif

The job is actually rather boring as I only type one or two things a day and the rest of the time I'm doing nothing. Luckily my boss is very understanding and doesn't force me to do crap jobs and lets me sit there and just answer the phone when it goes off. God bless the internet and magazines laugh.gif

I didn't get that job in Castlefield Art Gallery. They gave it to the other person. I'm not bothered as I wasn't sure I wanted it.

I do, however, have an interview with Liverpool Museums on Thursday so fingers crosssed for that *crosses fingers*
