I have a problem with every web browser on our computer and macromedia flash player 8. This is not just with matazone and it can only be explained with a picture.

This also happens with runescape. Anything that uses flash or java. I have the latest
versions of this browser.

Well, for a start: just exactly when was the last time you updated your browser cache? I haven't had the Flash advert for my shop next to the animations for months precisely because of this problem.

The problem is that this also means that I put a fair bit of time into trying to work out a way around the problems when two animations overlap in a way defined by Z values in CSS layers and I came up with nothing.

So, for my site the solution is to do a full refresh by pressing crtl and f5 at the same time, for other sites... Well... You'll just have to hope that they sort their designs out to get rid of over-laps too.

Alternatively you could just put your screen on a higher resolution and there won't be a problem!

At my friends house he has the flash advert and he has it at a smaller size that soesn't need all the toolbars to go away. This is just on my computer and it's with all browsers on it.

I tried doing the refresh. It didn't work.

The adverts gone, but the animations are still HUGE!

As in the file size, or the size on your screen? I can only assume that you are viewing on a very low resolution setting. I designed the site so that only people on the very very lowest settings would get any overlap, and so I can oly assume that you are either using an ancient machine that can't handle a bigger screen or that you don't know how to change the setting:

That should sort out the second problem if that's the case. From what I can see on your screenshot, you're probably on a resolution in the region of 600x800, which is very very small by modern standards. I think that was average about ten years ago, so I don't usually code with that size in mind these days.
