Hi!

So I'm not sure if anyone here really remembers me or not, it has been a while. College has been crazy and my life has become insanely busy. Nonetheless, I just thought that I would drop by and say that I am going to be in London the last week of July this summer after a three week internship in Africa - Tanzania to be precise.

I'm looking for things to do and I would love any suggestions - or company for that matter!! I am going completely alone so this will be a totally new experience for me! I know that it's been a long time but if anyone is interested, please let me know! biggrin.gif

Hey Spiffy! That sounds like a good excuse for a London meet-up. Which Saturday would be best for you?

Aye, does sound like a good reason to have a London meet.

Well I will arrive in London the evening of July 22nd, and I am leaving July 30th -- so anytime between then. The end of the week may be better as I am staying with some friends outside of London in the beginning of the week.

What would be good for everyone else??

(oh and I do like picnics, but I am afraid I am not nearly coordinated enough to juggle!)

So, the 28th, then? Pretty sure that works fine for me and moop.

(I'm not coordinated enough to juggle either, but picnics where you can watch other people who are -- and maybe try yourself unless you're as chicken as me -- can be fun)

Should be do-able, summery things inna park are good. The fact all the juggling and poi got an audience last year was very entertaining to me. I'll bring myself...and my chair...possibly cider too.

And yes, we all remember you spiffy. smile.gif

haha that's too cool tongue.gif

I may have a flat/condo while I'm there, although I'm not sure yet. The flat is a timeshare that belongs to my aunt -- but if I am so lucky as to have it everyone is more than welcome to come stay or hang out laugh.gif

Yay! London meet date. As I've probably said before, we will have bed (yes, BED) space for at least four, if not six- although you'll have to be comfey with sleeping next to a Matazonian of your choice as these are all double beds. Well... two sofa-beds and a futon.
And there may be a Cheesey Moose in one of them already.

But the offer is still there tongue.gif

I should probably put this in the meet thread...

I would think separate threads would be an idea, yeah. Less confusing that way.

Spiffy -- what day do you leave for your trip? Obviously we'll need to sort out a time/place before then. I think we pretty much all agreed on the 28th, right? (it seems that's the only weekend you could do it, anyway). So presumably it'll be the 28th, some tube station in London near a park, sometime in the afternoon.

Good move. I did mean separate threads for both meets though, as you're right, it would be very confusing biggrin.gif
