Hi all. I was so proud of myself that I had to share this with you all.

I ran Race for Life last Sunday and did it in 31 minutes and 30 seconds (approx.). Not only did this beat my personal best of 33 minutes but I didn't walk once! I am so chuffed with myself for achieving this.

Perhaps most importantly though I've raised 225 (so far) for Cancer Research UK biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I'm still taking donations but this isn't a plea for one so don't worry smile.gif

Here are the pictures (I didn't want to wear the bunny ears but they made me! rolleyes.gif)

Me, Amanda and Liz before the Race

Me and my bro - one reason for running this year

Sprinting for the Finish

Tired but happy

Liar. I bet you were begging for the bunny ears. You probably only took them off for the other photos before putting them back on again. Anyway, they suit you. Now all you need is the rest of the outfit! wink.gif

Well done on running and raising so much money.

Not sure whether to be shocked or flattered wink.gif tongue.gif

I actually got very annoyed with my friend as I was treating it as a serious race and she was just wanting to wear bunny ears and a tail and walk the whole thing dry.gif I basically told her she could stick the tail and ears up her bum but on the day everyone was really into the whole silliness of it. I just couldn't run with them as they would've hurt and/or fallen off smile.gif

We had our picture in the Braintree and Witham Newspaper as well. I can't find a web link but it's a really nice picture of us all and takes up half one page biggrin.gif
