Check it.

Seems like this is the time and place. It always hurts when great comedians, musicians, actors and performers die.

Anywho, some golden quotes for you:

"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death."

"I think it's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."

"Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck."

Oh wow.

That makes me so sad. I've the book of his called Napalm and Silly Putty, which is how I discovered his comedy.

RIP, George.

(Is this a bad time to mention that in above-stated book he said that when he dies he wants them to take his body and drop it from a plane randomly, and whereever it lands...to let it rot there? tongue.gif)

Ah that's sad. I remember him mainly from Bill and Ted.

RIP.

Very sad. RIP. We got my social studies teacher to write the seven words on the board once... it was fantastic.

If anyone wants a large collection of the works of George Carlin, I acquired quite a bit of his stand-up comedy from Kazaa a long time ago...

So just ask me and you shall receive

he was one funny guy, they've been showing clips at the end of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart all week. Forgot how funny he was. Being primarilly shown in the states I'm not sure how many Brits will know who he was but it's a sad time.

Rufus, dude!

Well, as they say,

You may be a king,
or a lowly road sweeper,
but sooner or later,
you dance with The Reaper.
