I was watching the news late last night and I was shocked to hear of the death of a famous celebrity.

Their career started in the mid 60's and through the next couple of decades their fame and fortune knew no bounds. It all started to go sour towards the 90's and nobody has heard or seen much of them in many a year, save for the odd picture in those celebrity dross magazines showing off their latest bout of failed plastic surgery.

Yesterday, they passed away. I'm sure you are all with me in prayer for this fallen idol.

RIP Farrah Fawcett.

Oh, and some dude called Michael Jackson died as well.

Aw, man. With all of the news about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, I didn't hear that Ed McMahon had died as well until just now. But...but...he never got to show up at my door and make me a millionaire. His life's destiny is unfulfilled!

I thought it was a hoax when moop told me that Michael Jackson was dead. It just seemed so strange and unbelievable. I'm not sure why, exactly. I don't do the whole mourning for celebrities thing. Well, except for Jim Henson and Mr Rogers. I cried when they died, I'll admit.

I was at the grocery store when I heard about Ed McMahon. The bagger's were talking and one said, "Ed McMahon died," and then the other bagger said, "The guy in charge of the WWE?!?" She spent the next five minutes trying to find out who was in charge of the WWE. If I had been more bold I would have said, "Publishers Clearinghouse dumb..." umm yeah. I'm glad I didn't though because it was the American Publishers Sweepstakes.
