I'm dissapointed in you, guys. No Halloween topic...and it IS Halloween. tongue.gif

So, what are you going as? Do you have pictures?

What are you doing?

Her dignity shone so bright like a light on a hill
and she burned for me, no other man came near her flame.
Bad country songs - the deafening twang of the rich white kid blues.
You can own the strange, but the lights and glares will not make you real.

The plan: Uncle drops cousin off at my place, mom takes me to my friend's house to go trick-or-treating. From there we walk to Walgreens, buy ourselves some candy to later stuff in pillow cases, and then go to this party this (hot and awesome) guy from school is throwing. Mom goes out and hangs with her friends (it's conveinently her birthday, so my curfew is essentially nonexistent, as long as I pull off pretending to be home) while we party. My friend is the designated driver (and for the purposes of this post 21..), so when we're done at Michael's we (friend, cousin, me) continue the party at my place so said friend can have fun, and hopefully clean up/fall asleep before my mom comes home.

I don't think we're doing a costume thing. Maybe just dress ourselves up in glow sticks..

Pictures are doubtful because they'll leak on Facebook, and suddenly everyone will know about the party that was never supposed to happen.

Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldnít be here if stars hadnít exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - werenít created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget God. The stars died so that you could be here today. ~Lawrence Krauss
