Me, of course! I think I may be too cocky going into it. Since last year's NaNoWriMo, I've written almost 500,000 words. Most of it is outlines and notes, and it's spread over several stories, but still. I'm sitting here thinking, "50K? Pfft. Easy peasy. That's a Tuesday."

And yet, I haven't really started. I've just been sifting through notes and such. I'm in trouble already. tongue.gif

Sadly enough, my current job already has me writing around 4,000 words a day, so writing for Nanowrimo would be a little more than completely insane.

Though, I'd like to take this chance to say Thanks NANOWRIMO, because it's the only reason they hired me in the first place.

Yeah, if I never want to see sunlight again. (Which is a no. I'll do this some year when my schedule is less demanding. =/)

Let's say I'm in. Because there's no better time than while in third-year uni, behind on lectures, and looking for a job.

Now! What do I write about?

'Write what you know' if a common mantra. Write about a university student who is behind on her papers, perhaps?

Or you could write about a moose named Gerald.

What? You're in Canada, right? tongue.gif

3,147 words so far. I'm behind. Hmph. I'll catch up; just you wait.

Ahahaha, I haven't written anything yet. AhahahahaHAHA.

I think I'm going to bend the rules a bit, write 50,000 words of short stories instead. On we go!

What're you two writing about?

Hmm.. is it bending the rules too much to write 50,000 words total, but not necessarily in novel form? Between French and history essays, physics and chem labs, rhetorical essays, and online debates, I.. think I do that in a month.

Roses and Thorns posts can divide 'chapters' which are intervals of days.

...I think I might do this just to see how much I write in a month. ohmy.gif

So... it is the 6th, and I am still tempted to join.

Am I crazy? Perhaps...

Also, I have my course officially starts today. Maybe it would be a bad idea.

A third of the way through the month. How are they coming on? Any good plots developing?

I'm behind, at around 17K.

"Good"...hmm. I don't know about that, but I've successfully silenced my internal editor. She is bound and gagged in the corner, cursing the month of November and wondering why I've stopped using contractions (hey, two words for the price of one!).

Why is it so much easier to write in every month but November? Hmph.

Anyone else still with me? I'm behind, at 30,379. Hoping to be caught up by tomorrow, which means I need to write around 5K between now and then. wacko.gif

*flails*

Three days left. I'm at around 44,000 words. biggrin.gif

I'm going to try to do a writing marathon and finish it today! I think I might have to turn my wireless off. The Internet is so distracting! Who can write when there are pictures of bunnies and owls to be posted on soup.io?

A poem and an essay (the essay's about jam.) They're in little magazines, nothing major, but it still got me all grinning. biggrin.gif
