Mine!

Appetizer: particularly limey pico di gallo with tortilla chips and a vietnamese spring roll with peanut sauce.
1st course: Joe's Special - a sushi roll featuring avocado, salmon, tuna, and a very delicious garlic sauce. Honestly the best thing i've ever tasted.
2nd course: kalbi with caramelized onions, miso soup, and cucumber salad with peanut sauce.
3rd course/dessert: wild berry cheesecake.
To drink: iced green tea and a regular coke.

Honorable mentions: turkey subway sub on italian herb n' cheese with chipotle sauce, zesty dill pickles, a small domino's garlic crust honolulu hawaiian pizza with roasted red peppers, and an in n out double double animal style.

Wow, you'd be lucky enough to get porridge really though.

Well, I don't know quite what I'd like for the meal, I think I'll mull that over a little longer, but I know what I'd have to drink.

A nice pint of cold Guinness. And as you got green tea and coke, I think I'll make that two pints.

I'd go with baked beans on toast as a starter, then "aardappelkroketjes" with a large amount of yogonaise. I'd finish with some pizza, Texas style, and as dessert Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie. And it goes without saying that Vimto is my drink.

Yes, I'm a simple person with simple needs wink.gif

a)

cool.gif Yogonaise is like mayonaise except it's got/is made from yoghurt

c)Texas style pizza is just a different name for a pepperoni pizza with moar meat

And Vimto : is a delicious fizzy drink (or soda, if you're American) which has about a dozen kinds of fruit. Unfortunately the main place to get it is the UK. I have to beg my father for it when he goes abroad or pay lots of $$$ to order it from eBay or an expat store in The Netherlands.

It's basically just mashed potatoes in a "kroket" form (Wiki), and with most fried foods it has an outer layer of bread crumbs which make sure it has a crunch outside.

EDIT: Aardappel = potato

(or soda, if you're American)

Not this American! Pop, thank you, sir. Easy way to spot those who were born in Oregon versus those who migrated there from California: whether they say pop or soda.

For my death row meal, I would start with an appetizer of grilled swan. If I'm dying, I'm taking one of those devil birds with me.

I have been trying to decide what I would have for the main meal since I first saw this thread, and I'm still not sure. Mexican food of some description, most likely. And root beer to drink. For dessert I would want mud pie (not made from actual mud), because really, who am I trying to impress with pretending to be refined if I'm about to die? Made with the plasticy Cool Whip instead of anything natural, please, so I can try to enjoy that potluck dinner nostalgia. tongue.gif

A pumpkin...

...hollowed out. Inside: a gun, ammuntion, prison keys, map of prison, £1m.

Maybe a chocolate torte for dessert, no... banoffee pie.

Mmm, noms.

I have no idea what it's called, but the Fuji Sushi in Orlando used to make it before Indian people bought the place out. It comes in a boat. It's like... a sushi roll with everything awesome in it, and the sauce. Oh man, the sauce. It's orange, and is so sweet, yet burns your mouth without you ever actually tasting the spiciness. Throw in some eel and salmon rolls on the side and a miso soup. Then, switch countries for General Tso, pork fried rice, and a hot and sour soup. I'll take all that with an iced green tea and some beer. While I'm at it, some Thai spring rolls with that peanut butter sauce.

(I didn't intend for this to sound as much like syuu's as it does, but damn I love Asian food.)

--------------------
Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldnít be here if stars hadnít exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - werenít created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget God. The stars died so that you could be here today. ~Lawrence Krauss
