I thought it might be a good idea to start this topic sooner, rather than later, knowing how long it takes us to plan anything around here.
 So, in April, I will officially be old enough to get my own stick to shake at younger people. Thirty. I'd like to organise a meet sometime around then. Or March would work, too. Whenever is good for most people. The weekend nearest my birthday won't do, as it has the nerve to be Easter that weekend. Harrumph. I was thinking London...probably just lurking in a pub as the weather around my birthday is generally unpredictable. Anyway, thoughts? Yes/no/maybe? Previous engagements that rule out certain weekends? The moopish one and I can't do the last weekend in March, as our anniversary is on the 30th, but other than that I don't think we have anything planned. -------------------- I love you in a way that is mystical and eternal and illegal in 20 states.

Well I'm game. It would be totally awesome if it could be in April. As for suggestions: I wouldn't mind any weekend, 2-5 and 16-20. Or April 29th - May 3rd.

Sorry, I'd love to, but I'll be in the middle of teaching chaos around then. It tends to be that point where life gets very complicated for the first year students, so I'm usually very heavily occupied pretty much 24/7. I might be able to make something at the last minute, but I'd hedge my bets to suggest I probably won't be able to get there.

Okay! East Midlands Trains are having a sale on tickets to London this weekend, and you can book up to 12 weeks in advance, so I'm going to go ahead and book tickets for the 14th sometime soon, unless someone comes up with a really strong objection.
