If you could do any job for a week, what would it be? It has to be something that you're not doing now or have done in the past, and you will get all the knowledge of the job for the week so you can do the job.
I can think of a few things I'd like to try: The head of MI5. I'd love to know all of the secret things that we're never told about. On the same line of thinking, it would be good to be the US president for a week. It would be very interesting, and it's possible you could put forward some ideas that could improve people's lives. On a more realistic scale, maybe something like a fashion photographer. I'm always interested to see lives that I'm likely to never be involved with - all the hidden social circles of beautiful people, money, and probably lots of drugs and misery. What would you like to do for a week? I'd go for detective in the Dutch Vice squad, really make a difference. When I was doing my last study I learned about the job those guys have to do (for example analysing and categorising pornographic material is a task that has to be done by someone different every two weeks to prevent people from getting depressions, burnouts and suicidal thoughts) and I could make a difference catching pedophiles. More of a fantasy would be being in a Special Mission Unit of the US (like Seal Team Six, the guys that took down Osama bin Laden), going after the big bad guys. |

Why? It would be interesting, but I've always wondered how on earth she manages to stop herself from yawning as she sees yet another tribal dance begin in front of her. If I were the Queen I'd demand stand-up comedians everywhere and ban dance troupes.

Actually the queen brings in far more money for the people than it costs to maintain her. We'd lose money (a lot of money) if we lost the queen.

And our clinic's are already free. Admittedly the health service could do with more cash but you can get free mental health help.

Any job for a week, eh? Having been jobless for awhile now, I'm tempted to say "Freaking anything that would pay me for the week." However, I'd be a rock star. Getting to go out on stage and have hundreds of people cheer for you? awesome. Or maybe, along the same line of thinking, a stand up comedian. It'd be awesome to not only get the whole cheering-for-you bit, but to make so many people laugh. The first time I used the remote microphone in the big hall I just had to say 'HELLO BREDA! ARE YOU READY TO... LEARN?!'. It needed more dry ice to give the full impression, I think.
