Against my better judgement I joined in the Ludum Dare 48 hour game jam at the weekend. After a bit of hatchet work to reduce the scope of the game (and to cut down the brutal difficulty) I managed to get the thing finished and submitted.
 Enjoy the chaos of my creation, Creature Collect. It's made using Flash so should just work in the browser.

I'm always interested in Ludum Dare but I don't think I'll manage to finish a game in under 48 hours

I did try but I struggled to reduce the difficulty without it losing something. Yeah getting difficulty right is hard. I do pyweek but haven't tried ludum dare before. 48 hours seems way too short
