Hi thanks for the welcome smile.gif

Yep it's HIM's logo. I got it in February before they released their latest album/single and now it appears everyone and their dog is into them and getting the logo as a tat! rolleyes.gif)

I obviously like the band but the main reason I got the tat was it's a pentagram and heart together. Pentagram for my religion/beliefs and the heart for my middle name, Charity (which means love not money giving! rolleyes.gif)

Sam

I know what you mean! I've been into HIM for a while now, and ever since the CKY video's came out over here, everyone want's to be like Bam Magera. It's quite sad really, but live and let live i suppose. Charity's a sweet name, don't hear of it too much anymore, apart from on that annoying program Emmerdale! laugh.gif

Yep they sure do biggrin.gif I thought it'd be really bad. I HATE needles unsure.gif and I was REALLY nervous beforehand but once he was doing it it wasn't too bad. I can only describe it as a really bad cat scratch. The pain built up while he was tattooing me but he kept stopping so it was like "ooww...ohh....owwww....oh" biggrin.gif

Hey to you all who've said hey!

I think if I decide to get one then I shall get rather drunk first and I'll wear headphones with very loud music so I can't hear my own screams...:/

Well I thought something similar but apparently you aren't allowed to be drunk or take aspirin for 24hrs before as it thins the blood and doesn't allow the tat to heal properly. You actually have to sign a waiver thingy to say you haven't! So sorry, you'll have to be sober but the headphone thing isn't too bad. I had heavy music playing while I was getting mine done (at Feline in Sheffield) so the adrenaline kicked in anyway biggrin.gif

Yeah that sounds cool! Basically, if you want one done you're gonna have to bite your lip and put up with the small amount of pain. I'm not gonna kid ya and say it doesn't hurt because having a tiny needle rammed into your skin at a fast speed DOES hurt but it really isn't that bad. I did it and took my boyfriend with me and he just kept talking to me and taking my mind off it.

What ever you decide make sure the design is simple and relevant to you and it'll be cool.

Hiya, welcome to the forums!

While I was in San Francisco last year with a friend he spent four days solid in the tattoo parlour Sacred Rose in the Castro district. That's about eight hours a day being tattooed! Eek! It does look very cool though, I'll have to scan in some of the pics sometime...

Hello Mata! wink.gif Recognise me????

Weirdly enough I'm off to San Francisco in October so will remember that parlour name and check them out as both my bloke and me plan to get a tat done while we are there! YAY smile.gif Where they any good??? Do they have a web address??

WeeJ, if you have any doubt in your mind about a design just don't get it done. Sleep on it or think about it for a while. It took me over 6 months to get together the courage to have mine done and I'm well chuffed I did!

I've often considered getting a tatt done - but it's deciding on a design that's a real brain hurt...

I'll never get one done on a whim, and if I ever do get one, it'll be something I really love...

Welcome to the forums, Pixie! Hope you enjoy your stay.

*munches on cookie*

Thanks everyone for your hellos! wink.gif

Actually I'm not sure if I like to Pixies to be fair. I chose that name because my usual online name for all my other boards is littlegothgirluk but someone has already taken that sad.gif Not surprising really! rolleyes.gif BTW, I was known as 'littlegothgirl' before I discovered Mata's wonderful creation and that is how I found out about her.

I'm Pixiegoth because a good friend of mine one referred to me as one! biggrin.gif

It's a cool name in any case. Pixie...I just like that word a lot.

Anyway, welcome to the boards! I look forward to seeing you elsewhere in the forums! smile.gif
