I, like many people, listen to things on a daily basis - whether I want to or not.
Amongst those things I include music - a thing I listen to for pleasure. I feel that one can learn a lot from a person's listening habits. Such as what music they like. And other stuff, too. What I really want to know is - what music have you been listening to today? I started my day with the new Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks album 'Pig Lib' (very odd, very good), followed that with half of a Kerrang freebie CD (first time I'd bought Kerrang in ages - hee hee! takes me back...), then 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd (one of my albums of choice whilst on the 'puter) and, to bring us to now, a compilation of speedy sub-three-minute tunes I made myself. I call it FAST!, and it rocks. -------------------- the end is nice |

Don't fret, faeries. When you've battered your ears as much as I have, they'll develop an immunity to pain. Plus you'll have a pleasantly high-pitched buzzing wherever you go.
Pardon? Listened to 6 Music earlier - God I love that station - and they'd chosen the new Stephen Malkmus album as Album Of The Day. Ahh, synchronicity... Now listening to Mew (the 'Am I Wry? No' single - perhaps my favourite of 2002), soon to be followed by 'Music Has The Right To Children' by Boards Of Canada. I have a busy and varied musical life. -------------------- the end is nice |
