sad.gif

I had to have a filling last night and the needle was HUGE sad.gif My jaw now feels like I've been punched and I can't open my mouth wide enough to take big bites of my sandwich sad.gif

I know it could be worse but I'd like some sympathy please wink.gif

Awww...poor Pixie *hugs*

Never had any kind of dental work or braces meself. I'm lucky, I have good teeth. But I have sympathy for those who don't smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif I felt better for two seconds and then I started to smile and....ouch again sad.gif

But that's not to say I don't appreciate your sympathy because I totally do! Two people I've never met before giving me hugs.....ahhhh biggrin.gif

Commie, I had to have braces when I was 14/15 and that sucked but my teeth look really lovely now and it wasn't until my braces came off that I got any interest from boys in school. I guess though that could also be because my boobs developed around that time too wink.gif

Don't do it WeeJ sad.gif Run.....run.....while you still can..... ohmy.gif

Mind you, if you don't, it'll just get worse and worse and you'll be in terrible pain. I was lucky that my cavity didn't hurt at all. When I went to the Dentist and she said I needed a filling I was like "What's the problem? It doesn't hurt! Can't you just leave it?" Unfortunately not! sad.gif

Do ya' know, that just goes to show how wrong I can be! I was always under the impression that braces were a good thing and that they couldn't possibly hurt you or make wonky teeth worse sad.gif Poor you sad.gif I guess I was lucky in that aspect.

Bah, my sympathy glands are dry. Just got back from the dentist, to discover that I've got about 4 cavities that need filling, so screw the lot of you.

Again, cheers for the sympathy guys.....er...except Jonman tongue.gif wink.gif Hope those fillings don't hurt TOO much mate! You see, that's what you get for eating all those sweets and fizzy drinks and not going to the dentist regularly (I assume unsure.gif)

I'm feeling much better today and, much to my boyfriends disappointment, I can actually talk properly and open my mouth more to eat biggrin.gif

Silly silly girl.

Do the pain - pay the money. Otherwise, you end up where I am - with truckloads of holes in your gob, and throbbing hurty bits that require drilling, filling and an absence of chilling.

wink.gif Ta mate!

I do feel much better now and have resolved myself to flossing and brushing twice a day and making sure I keep a large stock of sugar free gum lying around. How long this will last for though is anyone's guess rolleyes.gif

My top wisdom teeth are coming in
Which is a very bad thing, cause my bottom wisdom teeth came in about a year ago, and they came in about perpendicular to what they were supposed to.

Ooo ouch! Teething eh? I hated that. I've got one through nicely, one coming through at what I consider to be a funny angle but the dentist didn't say anything about. The top two haven't made an appearance yet unsure.gif
