which means that the roads are wet,

which means that they're slippery, as it's the first time it's rained for a few weeks.

which means that the I can finally get some use out of the button that turns off the traction control.

*giggle*

had the car travelling 90 degrees perpendicular to the way it was pointing on the way to work.

*chuckle*

I'm glad it's raining for you and you're having fun!

I just want to be childish for a second and go NEENER NEENER NEENER JONMAN. WE GOT RAIN LAST WEEK! Actually it was quite odd that we got rain last week, seeing as it's still summer in cali and we don't usually start getting rain until October.

Anyways have fun singing, playing, and EDITing in the rain. laugh.gif

It's boiling in the UK and my CPU is a very unhealthy 66C! Eek!

It got in the newspapers over here that it had rained in California! Apparently there has been a Rodney-King style race trial where the policeman has just been acquitted but still the main story on the evening news was about the rain... Weird...

It's been pretty hot here lately, but we've had random storms this week. One day sun, the next lightening and rain. So fun!

Yeah some cop arrested a 16 year old boy and had him face down on his police car and decided to punch him in the face for no real reason.

I guess rain is just a bigger news story here sometimes. lol

It has rained quite a bit here. Which is weird for this time of year. Usually we have clear days up until mid-afternoon, when thunderstorms start. Usually they aren't accompanied by very much precipitation, which leads to forest fires. So, it's a very good thing that this isn't happening now. Last year a guy I knew from high school died while going to fight forest fires....wow, I'm depressing.

ANYWAY. It's a good thing we're getting rain w/ little to no lightning. We need the water, because we hardly got any snow this past winter.

It changes every month or two, as my company provides me with a rental. Currently, I'm abusing a Mustang, which is quite a lot of fun, for such a hairdresser's car.

If only Hertz had proper cars with gearsticks and clutches......

It has been raining nonstop here, which leads to flash flooding. I have this deep rooted fear of having to swim away from my car and it floating away. It hasn't bothered me except for the other night when it was raining so bad I couldn't see the lane lines and between my windshield fogging up and the wipers giving me an epilepsy, I was ready to pull over and sleep in my car. I hear it is quite comfy.

funny story, these guys were driving suzuki vitaras about the beach, one had proper off road tyres and raise suspention, the other....didn't, anyway, they decided to drive about in the water...showing off to the women etc...well the normal vitara decided to see how far out he could got, he got quite a way (shallow beach) then all of a sudden he stopped, then he started to drift at an odd angle, it was floating!! well the other one had to help his mate out, eventually they got it to shore, they opened the doors and sea water flooded out of each of them....silly jeep people tongue.gif

Yeah it was in Warrington this morning. I'm actually still frightened by thunder and lightening (and the dark!) sad.gif I had to make Ed sit with me while I had a bath this morning. SHAME! wink.gif

There was one big clap on thunder that made us both poo our pants plus it keep going away and coming back again.

I then had to drive to work over the Pennines with fog, thunder and rain sad.gif dry.gif

I'm reading this thread and hearing all the people in the UK complain about the heat. From what I hear you're in the equivelant of 80's F.

Funny story. We fell to the 80's last week and people were grabbing their sweaters and long sleeves cause they thought it was getting cold.

I just think it's interesting how same temps can seem so different to different people.
