Dayan, forgive me for going off on tangents about you so much in the last few days. I simply don't think you understand that the most consoling thing in all this has been your memory; the simple idea that you even existed somehow makes me feel alright, and that some justice will let you and I have a very long talk again some day. Perhaps in the next life we can take back up where we left off, and finish loving eachother like things were supposed to go.

I met you through Matabloid. Before that, you were just this very witty man who seemed extremely intelligent and .. debased things. It was through IRC that I really began to talk to you late at night, and when the chatroom was abandoned you would be there for me just to chat. Things were extremely rocky when it first came about how I felt with you. I remember the entire episode, everyone crying and being so shy about their stupid feelings, Jon caught in the middle and me trying to fix what I'd so horribly screwed up.

That day I got lost and wandered around in the city for so many hours in the heat, you were all I thought of. I'd carry my CD player on the long walks to and from summer school and just think of the fact that I'd never met anyone like you, and that Radiohead seemed to make those thoughts all the more attractive. I'd get home f--king exhausted and sit down at the computer and just talk to you for hours with Lo or Jaq, or even just alone evem though you were the one always there.

I couldn't understand you the first time you called me and you knew it. I felt so bad for making it a 45 second conversation but you weren't mad, you were just nice and talked slower until I could pick up what you meant and dignify a real reply.

You ran up all this credit on me. I know it must have been so expensive, our two hour conversations that frequently got interrupted by our indeed, quite, mhm etc. game and ranged from everything to politics, to music, to forumite sex, to tv, to daily lives and heartbreaks and adoration and the at first very careful and quiet "I love you".

I'm sorry about all the times I couldn't decide or I was afraid or thought I was too daft to be in your company. The night InKy left I promised him I was going to fix things and do it properly this time. And even though it wasn't long before you left, I think we had about a month of actual understanding. I'd sit outside and learn to say your words, get locked in the closet and say something raunchy and then disguise it, and we'd argue for ages on who would repeat whatever was said.

I'd say you were the most fun I'd ever have in this life. You made those dreadful walks to summer school beautiful, I had time just to muse about you. You made the phone interesting, you made me see that there were other people in the world and I could get up just like you had and run away from what I used to be if I didn't like it. You made me a better person, and you're why I'm happy with myself.

Having you as a part of me is the most beautiful asset I'll ever carry. I learned from you just to suck it up and live. I know that's what you were doing every day, you just went into IRC and did /me hugs for hours with the occasional /me snogs or some raunchy cupboard joke.

You're a lewd bit of perfection with a beautiful face and expressive eyes. I wanted so badly for our liprings to get caught. You know Jaq would have laughed, she teased us more than anything and even though I pretended to be embarrassed, loved it.

In light of tomorrow being the great Valentine's Day and all, I figured that I'd make a brief reappearance.

I'd like to start by saying thank you to you all. For a long time, you guys (and you know who you are) were my best friends. I still hold you dear in my heart, because you're so... so, so, so special. In the good way.

This place is quite possibly one of the most wonderful things to ever happen to me. Of course - I've met so many awesome people through this web site.

I'm not going to write any personal messages on here, because I'd inevitably forget someone. If you know me(remember me), then I love you and miss you dearly. I'm not on so much any more - I've moved on to other things, that aren't better at all, really, but different. There's a certain amount of nostalgia associated with this place.

But, I love you all. And I'd give you hugs and green apple suckers if you were with me now.
