A couple of piles are allowed, I think.

My problem is, right now, I'm trying to fit two lives worth of stuff in one room. Doesn't work.

Soon... Soon I shall move out... And that will be a happy day...

If I could pick what my room would be like, it would be clean and organized smile.gif Is that usually the case? No.... lol It's generally clean, but I'm not really organized--at least never for very long. lol

no one has ever accused my room of being clean... and for good reason, you know in cartoons where they joke about not knowing the color of there carpet, i think mines either pink or orange, im not very sure the patches where you can see vary in color

I actually have a weird thing where I get depressed being in my room if it's totally clean. Don't know why, but I need my bit of mess. It's my friend.

Hey smile.gif I think everything's okay, thank you! LTNS.... How're you?

back on topic: I get kinda depressed if my room is too messy... at least for long. There's just something about a clean room, especially a clean room with a really nice candle going, that makes me feel better.

My room, isn't exactly organised, but not dirty either , well most of the time...I have a lot fo "hiding space" in containers, bookcases, and a closet.

So, all is stashed away when I leave the house or when I expect company...I share a flat with a couple...so yeah , I need to keep up appearances.

Organized chaos!

i fit into about three of those catgories...ideally i want everything under my bed cause ive got boxes and little drawers on wheels under there for all my crap but then i also have a foldout futon/chair that stuff gets stacked up behind and my bookcases and chest of drawers are all overflowing with bits and pieces.

i only worry if i lose sight of the bottom of my mural or cant decide which way im pointing when i wake up tongue.gif

If everything's shoved away under the bed, I'm happy.
I have to have a clean bed though. There's nothing more comfy than getting into a warm bed that smells of washing smile.gif Especially when you've just had a roasting hot bath and its chucking it down with rain outside.

My bf's room on the other hand....Its a case of needing a spade to get in. I tend to have to follow the sound of his voice to get to bed.

Yeah, me too. I find that too much cleanliness leaves a room looking sterile and un-lived-in. A few heaps of stuff here and there, though, and you create the feeling that it's yours, and no-one else's.

My room is soooo mine...

Because it's soooo messy, no doubt. tongue.gif

I wish my room was mine... sleep.gif And no I don't mean messy, I mean I wish it looked like me, or a representation of me, or something. But all I've got is institutional white walls. Well, the computers and video games lying around are kinda like me, so they help, but it's still very cell-block-ish sometimes.

my room is clean and tidyish - but messy enough to be me - if you know what I mean. As in its clean but not always organised... Its quite babyish too, with teddies and (ofcourse) Elmos everywhere, and its pink and white!!! I need to get rid of the pink and make it red and white instead...or paint an Anarchy sign on the wall, something!

Yeah, me too. I find that too much cleanliness leaves a room looking sterile and un-lived-in.

I'm pretty much the same. I find it's quite disconcerting to be in a 'show' room. I like organisation, with a lived in feel.

I also find that when I'm feeling low, the state of my room become a rat's nest. No organisation, not piles of anything in particular. Just stuff anywhere and everywhere. On the flip side, when I'm feeling good I can see my floor, and I know where my keys are.

If I had enough money I'd employ a maid.

I voted for the second one. When it's really really bad, I'll break down and clean it, but that has to be drastic. But it's pretty much that if I can navigate, it's okay.

i'll tidy my room before a holiday, or sometimes if my parents are coming to town. otherwise my room is a mess that got more mess put on top, with the mess thrown around and stuff put in weird places. for instance, the cup that i keep my brush and comb in currently has a pair of pliers and a bookmark in it.

once every 4 or 5 blue moons i'll attempt organize my room, but it never comes out perfect.

i need my clutter. if my place were perfectly clean it just wouldn't feel comfy. besides, whenever i clean i can't find anything! laugh.gif
