Welp. I gave blood last night and just like last time I passed out. Yeah. Go me. Actually I passed out while giving blood as opposed to last time when I passed out a few minutes after. Hey! Maybe enxt time I go I'll just get it all over with and pass out while on the way to the clinic!

Yeah. The nurses were very excited. I guess working in the blood donor clinic doesn't really lend much in the way of nursely excitement except when people pass out...

Also Did you know that if I had been to France or the UK since 1980 I wouldn't be able to give blood? Is there something you dang English aren't telling us? huh.gif

Isn't this an exciting topic? yeah, I didn't think so either.

That'll be because of the rampant Mad Cow Disease, BSE, AIDS, haemophilia and socialism afflicting our nations' bloodstreams at the moment.

I don't think socialism is carried through the bloodstream. It's more of a mental ailment. tongue.gif

I got turned away last time I went to give blood. I was JUST under 8stone in weight so they wouldn't do it. The nurse was quite stroppy about it really dry.gif
