For the first time in 10 years I wore shorts outside. My poor day glow legs got sun burnt and now they hurt. I thought they were so white they would just reflect the sun. I guess I was wrong. sad.gif

Silly Lo, don't you know you have to wrap your legs in tin foil to make them reflect sunlight? Not that I know from personal experience...Nope. Not me.

LOL I guess since you haven't been out in the sun in a while, maybe you haven't heard of it... but there's this great thing called suntan lotion wink.gif JJ!

Actually I avoid the sun as much as possible... I got too many bad sunburns when I was little...

Aww, poor Lolo... I understand the feeling, I don't wear shorts ever either, and if I did it'd probably burn my legs completely off. I get sunburned walking outside from class to class on the campus... lol

I never wear sunscrean I don't like the way it feels, and I'm really not in the sun all that much. I was only in the sun for half an hour today lol.

Tut.

Sunscreen is the daddy. Should always wear it when going skin-clad in the sun. Stops nasty cancer beasties. Try the spray-on stuff. Not oily at all.

Sleep easy.

I don't normally expose myself to the sun. I wear pants all year long, that's why my legs haven't seen sun in ten years. If I am out when the sun is up it usually is in my car, where the only tan I get is on my drivers arm. Other than that when the sun is up and out I'm either in my house, or in a school building. Plus if I ever get another job again I will be in an office building or store all day.

This is why I haven't bothered with sunscreen along with the oilyness of it that I don't like. It's just not a good investment sometimes when 3/4 of the bottle wouldn't get used. I do agree though that I should have used it and it will help me not get skin cancer to accompany my future lung cancer. laugh.gif

I'm from Cali and white as snow, until yesterday when I got burnt.

I love the sun. (that's what we're talking about, right?) Where I live the sun's usually out but for most of the year you can't *feel* it. I love it when you can sit in a sunbeam and just soak it up....Ahhhh

Its that thing that makes you wake up in the morning 'cos it gets too light.

I rarely see it, my curtains are almost perminetly shut, I do occasionally open them when its dark.

the Sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is made into helium
At temperaturesof millions of degrees

Yo ho! It's hot! The sun is not
A place where you could live
But here on earth
There'd be no life
Without the light it gives

Another Libra trait... my clock is 30 mins fast, I set the alarm a half hour early, an I hit the snooze button 9 times before I get up...

Any wonder I'm always late... laugh.gif

It should be illegal ta get up before the hours are in double figures!
