Today around noon Pacific Standard time there was a 6.5 earthquake in Palo Alto California. Only two lives were lost, but I guess there was a substantial amount of damage done. A 6.5 earthquake is pretty big. The one that destroyed the Bay Bridge back in 1989 was a 7.0 so this was just a tad smaller.

Anyways please let our thoughts be with those who were involved in this, and please if you're one of our Cali posters, take a min to tell us you're ok.

I live about 1/2 a mile from the san andreas fault and I hardly felt a thing, it was like 2.3 over here, but anyway I'm fine.

Actually, the earthquake was centered in Cambria, CA. Most of the damage, and the lives were lost from Paso Robles, CA.

I felt it at guard practice, but I didn't know there had been an earthquake until one of the moms told us. I just thought I was swaying cos I was dizzy biggrin.gif

I am too busy with all this dust and all these branches weighing on me
