Well perhaps this is in the wrong place but I don't know where else it should go.

I just tried to put [ img ] code into my sig and it says that dynamic pages in img tags arn't allowed... so how do you do put an image into your sig?

Thanks.

I think I see the problem. Your image is uploaded, the one I want to use is a mere attachment from another forum... the address doesn't have a .jpg or .gif after it... this might be more difficult to remedy than I first thought...

Thanks for the help LoLo smile.gif

EDIT: Ba ha ha ha ha ha!

What should the pixel dimensions/size be?

I used 5.5 (roughly) inches wide by 1.5 inches high...

But you could probably get away with seven inches wide, since mine isn't as long as the screen allows, and other people have longer ones.

Keep it to 5.5 please. If you go wider than that people using lower resolution screen settings (such as the common 800x600) will have the forums widened by your picture and so I'll chop it out again!

The suggested height is 100 pixels. Much bigger than that and it starts to be more sig than message on a page, but at least pictures are easier to scroll past without distractin you from the forum messages than lines and lines of text in a sig.

I don't know if you're judging off my sig Mata, because I just recently changed to 7.75. If so, then the maximum is 7.75, if not, well let me know and I'll go back to 5.5.

As it is, I think i've got the lower resolution settings, which makes my sig just fit into the bottom of the screen, but I could be wrong, so could you let me know if I'm breaking the rules?

Thanks,

Juice

Yeah, I just got an LCD monitor and my 7.75 sig is no where near the length of the screen, which means that I had lower screen resolution settings before... So yeah 7.75 inches is the maximum before the screen starts to get stretched, not 5.5.

Okay, I'll take your word for it, I've not actually checked any specific sizes. I usually deal in pixels anyway, so I'm not used to thinking in inches about digital things!

You're stretching my screen tongue.gif It just makes your post wider than the others which means I have to scroll across to catch bits of it sad.gif
