Hey every body won`t remember me but i have been on once or twice.
my last convo was a bout going to America.........
thanxs to the people who said enjoy myself, i did considering it was America, better still it was Kentucy LOL
well i`ve been there and gez what a f**ked up country,
I was there when they caught sadam and what going there, they drove there cars with flags out there windows beeping there horns and laughing as the news told them that "THEY HAD CAUGHT HIM"
they made it out to be a victory when it was susposed to be about the people of IRAQ(iraq in big letters to make a point)
when did it turn into an American thing????????
Bring on michael moore.........who? haaaaaaaa (sp)
I have lost all resect for Americans please some one call me a D*ck and tell me it is only the goverment and not it people
(i`m not trying to be a d*ck, so sorry if i offend anybody)
it will be a long time before i will want to go back

To change the subject a little..................
I watched that flim "ELEPHANT", gez what a flim, how easy is todays youth (Americas youth that is)
I watched this and was amazed how those teens???? could be influenced by ads to buy guns and end up using them on the people who they wen`t/go to school with
(only in America can this happen)
But watch it , its`s a good show and follows on from "blowing for colmbine"

Ps if any Americans are reading this tell me whats going on so i can get a good pic in my mind and you can get a bit of self respect back!!!!

PPS forgive any spelling mistakes laugh.gif

Please, don't judge us primarily on that...how long did you spend here? Where are you originally from? I can't understand your jump to conclusions...you need to think these things out more.

(And plus, Kentucky isn't a supreme example of America's splendor tongue.gif Come on up to Chicago. wink.gif)

Well, that's their view. I don't think that's everyone's view, but they have a right to their opinion. You, too, have a right to your opinion, but I don't think you have enough information to form a quality one yet.

When I heard we caught Saddam I cheered. The search was over and a tyrant could no longer be in power. It's one of the few things that America has done as promised in Iraq. Yes I get sick of all the flags everywhere, all the nationalism just annoys me. But let them be, it's only a shame the American people have so much sway over the world. After all, they elect the leaders. laugh.gif

"Dude i`m not judging you on Kentucy, I`m judging you on what happened while i was there."

Which means, by the way, that you're judging us on Kentucky.

You can't just assume that what happened during your particular experiences in Kentucky applies to everywhere else in America (or everywhere else in Kentucky, for that matter).

"they made it out to be a victory when it was susposed to be about the people of IRAQ"

I personally was happy when they caught Saddam, even though I'm entirely against every single aspect of the way that the U.S. handled the war and partially against the war itself. I mean, since we're there, we might as well do the job we came to do. And Saddam WAS a cruel dictator, even though the way in which he was removed from power (and I mean from the first Gulf War until now) was one of the worse ways in which the situation could've been handled. Although even the hunt for Saddam was handled pretty poorly (come on, he was hiding in a hole just outside of his hometown! I mean, come on! Why didn't anyone check the area AROUND his hometown, and not just the town itself?), it is indeed a good thing that he was caught. Now we wait for the U.S. to decide to circumvent international law and put him in a military tribunal......

And now I have to comment on this:
"I`ve been in your country and seen the smiles that alot of Americans had when sadam was caught....explain that"

There's nothing to explain; people SHOULD be smiling. Did you want us to invade the country, not accomplish a single goal we set out to accomplish (I mean, how long do you expect any democracy we set up to last? Especially since we're basically setting it up for the Iraqis, which will make them resent it. Resentment turns to hate, which turns to violence, etc.), and just leave?

Do you deny that Saddam should be brought to justice, despite the utterly mis-handled method in which that justice is brought to him?

And no, it isn't entirely the government. But to say ALL Americans are like our president? That's just predjudice.

"cause your news is pro American"

........

Thank you Captain Obvious. Now, please find me a major media organization of any country that is against that country.

Yeah, i suppose Kentucky's not all that splendid (I happen to live there) but remember, like gerbil said, what's expressed in part of Kentucky isn't necessarily how the rest of the state/nation feels.

SORRY
Let me explain
Going to KY was my first trip to America, and like i said i DON`T treat prople i meet as the standard of the nation
but what i am saying, while i was there every single person i met (me having a different accent, means alot) they all love yes LOVED what their soldiers were doing on distant shores, and what i`m trying to say if anyone will read long enough is: that alot of people are agaist this war and thought it was not needed
prove me wrong? blink.gif

I agree with gerbil here. You are saying that you are not judging us based on Kentucky, yet you are.
QUOTE

I was happy to see a dictator who did cruel things be unable to himself spur anything. I feel that our troops are being disillusioned by nationalism, much as I was as an innocent warpable mind I used to be(my my alot has changed since last year laugh.gif), into being proud of what they are doing. Don't judge me and many Americans by any small population of people. That's like saying all women drink cosmos in cliques in fancy bars from watching sex and the city.

That's like me calling all british people drunken slobs.

What's very important to know about America is how wide ranged the views are, and how there are so many groups with so many points of view. You only saw one group. That's the problem.

Ladies and gentlemen, our first liberal troll.
If this guy went to Texas, he'd have been shot.
</critisism><debatemode=on>
Just because alot of people think it's the wrong thing to do doesn't make it wrong, it doesn't make it right either. The point is, we just captured a dictator hellbent on causing chaos, and as an american that belives that removing someone like that is a good enough cause to start a small war, I'm pretty damn proud we did it.

First, I suggest looking at the rules, especially the one about discussing your view in a civilized manner. Second, I suggest you take a grammer class of some sort, because It's pretty damn hard to figure out what the heck you're trying to say. And third, watch your language.

Wrong...
The Duke of Normandy won Briton in 1066.
The Communists won Veitnam in the 70's.
The U.S won an unknown source of oil in 1945.
Need I go any longer?

People die anyway. Stairs are incredibly useful but also incredibly lethal. Same goes with sharp kitchen implements.

Nothing is pure benefit, there is a cost in everything.
