I'm not sure what the question is, but:
I click on the link and I see a pic ... so that link works ... If this is about getting that pic to be your av on here, then I suggest you click on that link right there ^ that you made, and when you see the pic, copy/paste the URL into the avatar address box ... I'd say that the error you got was probably because of some unlucky typing or something like that (for example: requesting http://www.blabla.com/blabla.jp) ... If you still have problems tell us and we'll sort it out, mate .... -------------------- Smileys don't mean not destuctive and not vicious

The problem may be that the link is too long.

One thing I notice with avatars, when I try to paste in a new address for a new image, the old address won't delete. This only seems to happen whilst using Opera though.

Hmm, well there are a few things that are designed to work on the majority of browsers, just beacuse it's so complicated to make them work on all of them, maybe whatever is causing that to happen is one of those things.

That's never happened to me, Joe, nor have I seen it posted about here before. Does it happen with any other sites?

The fact that your computer may freeze when visiting these forums is *basically* not related to the forums themselves .... Certainly not because of any technology that these here forums use deliberately, like bandwidth stuff, or whatever, because there is no such thing ...
It *sort of* must be a thing about your comp. ... but this could be because your comp cant handle the avatars, or maybe the sigs, or basically has a problem with something that everybody else seems not to have a problem with .... the best thing that can be done, as a first "lets-do-something" kind of thing, is to download and install "Adaware" ... a prog that gets rid of unsolicited commercial-based 'virus' type infections, that can easily explain the retiscence that you find when merely asking for a web-page ... To download, go to http:/www.lavasoftusa.com and find/download the program (not pro).... than install and run, and look for "Look for updates now" down bottom right .... Complete the install process of the updates for the beast, then click "next" ... until you have nuked all the stuff it finds ... repeat every two weeks ... its amazing what it finds ... This program makes miracles .... it cleans a computer from stuff we never even suspected ... let it nuke everything ... anything it finds is worth getting rid of ... Warning: it stops kazaa from working, cos it nukes spyware installed by kazaa ... if you have kazaa, then before running adaware you should download "kazaa lite" , using kazaa ... then uninstall kazaa ... then install "kazaa lite" ... then you can run adaware ... Its the business .... difference between a clean computer and a knackered computer (in my experience ... and I have the experience) -------------------- Smileys don't mean not destuctive and not vicious

There have been a huge amount of malignant things floating around on the net recently. The server this site is hosted on has been taken out twice in the last month (which is why there have been some errors on my site lately) and my computer has had several nasty things floating around on it which is the first time that anything has got onto my machine in around seven or eight years of being online.
There are lots of great packages out there. Adaware is very good indeed, System Mechanic is also great (Google for it) and can do all kinds of fun things to clean up and speed up your system. -------------------- Trouble Down Pit: Still updated every Monday and Friday
