I was out at a club with a few mates last night and one of them had been messing about with his lighter seeing how high he can make the flame go. Another mate of mine goes to light up a ciggy. Puts it in his mouth, flicks the lighter and this huge flame shoots out lighting the cig and his hair at the same time. He noticed his hair was on fire and starts hitting himself on the head franticly trying to put it out, me managed with just little synging to his fringe. I couldn't stop laughing for ages although the alcohol may have helped there but it was really funny seeing his hair in flames.

Don't play with lighters.

I can't tell you how many times I have singed my hair on the end of my ciggy, or accidently lit it on fire. It's amazing I still have hair left.

I've taken my eyebrows off with fire before.

Remember kids, face DOWNwind before firebreathing.

And then a couple of years ago, I set fire to the back of my head with a set of fire poi (flaming wicks on the end of chains that you whirl around to look funky).

Thankfully, Mata was on hand to liberally beat me around the head, which put the flames out.

Man like the Mata's actually got some proper hand fireballs. Juggling balls you set fire to, then juggle reallreally quickly. They're quite good fun, but bloody hard work.

I need more loony juggling toys - all the good ones are in storage.

I have stopped smoking multiple times, however once addicted always addicted. Longest I went without one was 2 years after I had started in the first place. They say the cravings go away, but when I walk around campus, or was at a bar (now bars in cali don't allow smoking but back then they did) the sheer smell of someone else smoking would make me want to tackle them for a smoke. Right now I have tried to stop multiple times, but going to a college that has no indoor hallways, I'm subjected to the smoke just walking to my classes and can't seem to quit.

So moral of the story, if you don't want to be addicted for life don't ever start.

LoLo started smoking because of her insane need to do what people told her not to do. She now is very saddened by the fact that she ever started, but alas she can't change her past.

Bad things that have come from it:

Her teeth aren't as white as they could be, which can become quite gross looking.......whitening toothpaste is helping with this.

She can't do as many things as she used to be able to do because of her lowered lung capacity, there by making her gain weight. (those who think smoking makes you thinner its a load of bull)

She is slowly committing suicide everytime she takes a puff off a ciggy.

Her mood swings are now controlled by her need for ciggys.

She doesn't smell very good, even the mixture of the smoke with her perfume is quite sickening.

Kissing her is like licking an ashtray, so she is only attractive to members of the opposite sex who smoke as well.

The list can go on for a long time dry.gif Sorry I put this all in third person.

I know exactly how you feel.. I was swirling poi at a party and smacked my shin with one.. I had on little bitty shorts... the worse part is the fluid from the wick ball stuck to my leg..I was not happy.. nor was my insurance company.. I also had a run in with flamming devil sticks.. but that was just me being drunk.. smile.gif

Mmmm, flaming devil sticks. I miss mine.

*sheds tear for firesticks in storage*

The irony about my setting my head alight with the fire poi is that the guy who'd had a go before me set fire to the back of his fleece. I saw this, and thinking I was being wise, took my shirt off and did it barechested. Forgot about my toilet-brush style haircut.

Fortunately, I had very little hair to burn. Smelt blink awful for the rest of the weekend though. Mmmm, burning hair....

One of my friends in secondry school was a bit of a pyromaniac. Our engish teach was perminently off so we had a substitude that didn't care what we did. So this friend of mine sprayed lighter fluid on his arms and legs and lit them on fire. It did get a little out of hand once and his trousers rather than just the lighter fluid caught on fire.

We almost set a school bus on fire once aswell. Another one of my mates was synging loose threads of the back of one of the chairs when the rest of the back caught fire. He managed to put it out himself but his wrists were a bit burned. What is it my my friends and fire?

Smoking is a terrible habit though although I think banning it in bars is a bit much, its all part of the atmosphere. Then again, half the clubs I go in don't care what people are smoking.

Flaming poi is fun but flaming devil stick are so much more fun...and insane.. hehehe.. I tried the breathing fire thing.. everything went okay but I dribbled a little of the alcohol down the front of my shirt.. and burn a huge hole right in between my breasts... hehehhehe.. I had to walk around this part with the flaming breasts shirt on all night smile.gif
