Hey you lot! I bet you missed me when I was gone, eh? I'll try to get all this down in one post, but it's not particularly easy.

We'll start from the beginning, I guess: Wednesday afternoon. I came home feeling pretty lousy. It wasn't a terrible day, so I sat on my bed, flipped on my music and prepared for a good cry. Before I knew it, an impulse shook me. I ran downstairs and grabbed the first bottle of pills that seemed reasonable - Tylenol PM. It had Benadryl in it, I thought, so I could get to sleep easier...and I brought the bottle upstairs, spilled 24 pills onto a tissue, poured myself a glass of water, and sat down. At this point in time I was talking, screaming, yelling, swearing at myself and replying to myself, one side of me telling to stop; the other commanding I go on. I swallowed 10 of the pills before I reconsidered and ran downstairs to tell my sister. I had an absolute fit, started screaming more as she called 911. Five minutes later I was guided onto a stretcher, stuck in the ambulance. I got an IV, got on a heart rate monitor, and they gave me oxygen. Actually, I quite liked the oxygen, but they pulled it out a little while later. Once at the hospital, I got into the bed they had there. The whole rest is sort of fuzzy - they stuck me several times with needles (and of course when you have a potentially dying teenager on the bed you'll get the paramedic STUDENT to take her blood and leave her with a three-inch bruise because he doesn't know what he's doing) and I had to drink charcoal instead of them pumping my stomach. 12 oz. of liquid charcoal. When I finally finished it, I promptly turned over and vomited onto the floor. Dad said it looked like I was vomiting oil - the charcoal was all that came out. Of course, that means that I get a whole 'nother cup. After a lot of that, I was transferred to the psych ward in the hospital. After eating something, I went promptly to bed - this was around 12:30 am Thursday. I'd been sleeping in the hospital too.

All right, let me take a break and I'll post Thursday morning...

Ah, okay. Thursday morning.

Don't freak out people, I'm okay.

Actually, maybe I'll go more into detail later. I might need to sleep on my own bed, finally. I was in the psych ward until about two hours ago.

Actually, that's true... t'will tongue.gif

Instead of school I'm going to this partial program till Friday, and am going back to school next Monday.

I don't even remember in detail what we did on Thursday-Sunday afternoon, but there were a lot of group therapy sessions. The people there were really nice, and I had the best roommate. ^^ When I get home today I'll have to tell you more about the crappeh food - exactly how hard the bread was. I'll bet you can't wait. tongue.gif I'm so behind here, there's a zillion new posts!

....

How could you possibly like the oxygen? It dried out my nose horribly, was uncomfortable, and ended up making the tops of my ears hurt badly from the tube being wrapped over them. I got nosebleeds from the drying out of my nose, but that didn't happen till after about 2 days of being on it constantly. Odd that you actually liked it...but to each their own, I guess.

Anyway...it's good you're okay.

But they use masks...not the horrid things that sit in your nostrils. *shudder*

Okay, enough spam about oxygen. tongue.gif
