I'm drinking a Pina Colada right now and I was wondering what peoples' favorite alcoholic drink is.

I've tried a few things, long island iced tea was one of the more insane. I'm trying to get to make jello shots but I need the little plastic cups.... umm, bloody mary's are good but.... not in the morning.

Yeah, well. ^^; Whats your favorite?

Margharitas. Lemon-lime ones, to be exact. I'll drink damn near anything so long as it's flavored lemon-lime.

I reiterate for those in the back row, or for those who were too drunk to hear properly the first dozen times I've been asked this...

Guinness and whiskey... mmmm...

Guiness and whiskey? Sounds vomit-tastic.

I'll drink most spirits. I've got an iron-clad stomach and never vomit from alcohol. I tend to avoid gin, red wine and beer though. Because it tastes like poo.

And brandy, because it gives me the shakes in the morning.

But particular favourites are Southern Comfort and coke, and WKD blue.

I don't really drink much at all, but if I decide to on a standard evening ill just drink strongbow with the rest of 'em lol. On special occasions or when we go out, I love exotic cocktails though, especially coconut based ones. In my experience anthing with reference to the amazons or the jungle in it's title is gonna be good happy.gif TGI Friday's rules for cocktails biggrin.gif

In general alcopops (preferably citrus flavored ones - citrus stuff rules), but also vodka jellies and I once had this really snazzy drink that was iced tea, with some spirit or other and mint. Mint tastes surprisingly good with tea and alcohol. I agree about the whole "beer tastes like piss" thing though, I don't see why anyone would want to drink beer. Spirits are good if you just want to get drunk and sugar-y, liqueur-y type things are good, like amaretto(sp?) and this chocolate stuff we have lying around in one of our cupboards.

Harder stuff? I'm a big fan of Tequila.

As far as the other... rather girlier things, I like wine coolers. V_V... It's kind of a fetish thing, but woo hoo!

Absinthe is..... interesting, it has a sorta aniseed taste (if i remember right) but the aftertaste really does it no favours...i hear there's a rumour that it kills 1in3 people who drink it....but there were 3 of us there and we all survived

Absynthe tastes a bit like anaseed but mainly of strong alcohol. It makes you v. drunk, and can cause you to hallucinate if you drink the 'right' sort.

My favorite drink is anything I didn't have to buy myself! wink.gif

Can't stand alcopops, they are way too sweet and cause a massive amount of trouble with under age binge drinkers, I like my drink to taste like a 'proper drink' that way you know that what you are drinking is alcoholic and are less likely to just knock it back like lemonade.

Hummm, a decent Red wine is always popular with me, or a Gin & Tonic on a warm summer evening sitting outside can be lovely.

now i don't mind alcopops, but you raise a good point there.

y'know what else is bad for binge drinking? i hate to say cider, but...yeah, and most importantly, those super cheap large bottles of lambrini they do over here. gets people p***** as anything, and they drink way too much cause it's so cheap... unsure.gif some of my friends are silly.

My favourite drink has to be Red Witch but it's expensive so i don't have it often... also the fact that you normally need just two or three pints of it is a plus. But recently because my parents gave me a bottle of Pernod - silly silly things - I've taken to drinking the spirit out of Red Witch on it's own. Not so good makes me more tolerant to Red Witch... Nooooo... laugh.gif

When i'm not drinking Red Witch i'm normally drinking WKD which i continuously get asked why i drink when i go on meets!! But i found a new drink called Mudshakes and these come in all flavours... taste just like milkshakes... deadly, can drink copious amounts and don't realise your drunk till you either stand up or go outside!!

hmmmm... i need a drink now!! unsure.gif

WKD Blue is lovely stuff. It tastes just like Raspberry Slush Puppies. Sooooo nice. But I only ever drink it when I'm out, because spirits are so expensive.

Also - Mudshakes are wonderful! Sometimes I want to drink them just because they taste so damn nice. Ra!

Pernod... Is that the stuff that melts through plastic over time? Or am I thinking of something else...?

I don't really like spirits, i will only drink them mixed with orange, lime or coke (mostly rum) because ive seen so many people drink spirits like water and go to hospital...

Hm, Baileys and Dooleys are always good, anything creamy!

In pubs i will drink Bitter (Lager tastes like piss) and I like Guinness with blackcurrant, but i have been admonished many times for 'ruining' Guinness that way.

I will drink alcopops when theres nothing else but i dont really like them- seen as a girlie drink but stronger than 'manly' beer- good one!

As long as its not grapefruit flavoured i will drink alcopops. I love lime flavour every time though!

Yes! Suffer our alcopop-drinking wrath!

But. Yes. There is a beverage that has to have special dispensers otherwise it eats through the plastic. Also, apparently it crystalises in your stomach, so when you wake up in the morning and drink water, you get ratarsed all over again.

It's probably very bad for you, but it sounds fun.
