I was going to apply for a new job in Liverpool. It was a cool job. At the Tate Gallery. A membership co-ordinator. I could do the job with my eyes closed.

HOWEVER the stupid, stupid Guardian initally listed it as Merseyside and as it turns out it ain't there. It's in bleedin' London mad.gif

Now I can't apply because I can't live down South sad.gif

Arse biscuits! mad.gif

I am not a happy bunny.

To make matters worse the lovely job at the museum in Bradford STILL haven't got back to and I'm beginning to think they never will dry.gif

/end rant

I need some positive vibes to pull me out of this crapiness sad.gif My Mum is ill, I hate my job, I keep getting vertigo/dizzy spells because of stress (more than likely but could be a number of things) and I hate it.

I feel down and want cheering up sad.gif

Call up the museum in Bradford and be like, "Yeah, I put in an application not-too-long ago and I wanted to know how it's doing." Be persistant. It works.

I have. Twice.

I submitted my application in April.

I got a letter at the beginning of May saying they'd very much like to interview me but had to postpone for a month due to funding problems and they would contact me in June.

I emailed the nice lady at the end of June and asked what was happening. She said another months wait.

I emailed this morning again (also saying I had had problems with Royal Mail bothering to deliver my post recently) and I've heard nothing as yet.

Either she's away or she's hiding sad.gif It could even be that they've sent letters, I never got one because of my stupid new postman and I've missed the interview altogether sad.gif

My oh my will I kick off if that's the case! mad.gif

Being a bit pessimistic aren't I!?

*major major hugs* I'm sorry sad.gif Doesn't sound like you're having a fun time at all... and you're usually such a cheery person too, hate to see you down in the dumps sad.gif Things will get better, you'll pull through, keep looking for jobs and calling up the museum probably isn't a bad idea. Sorry to hear about your dizzy spells too...and I send all my good wishes and hope to you and your mum! *hugs again* I hope things look up soon smile.gif

Isn't this what the cheerleading cult is for? I'm guessing they're all to drunk/hyper/away from an internet connection to be of much help so here goes...

\o/ give me a p! |*

\o/ give me an i! |

\o/ give me a x! ><

\o/ give me an i! |

\o/ give me an e! E

what do you get? |* | >< | E

*hugs* good luck with everything, I hope everything goes well for you!

Thanks guys smile.gif I was on one of my downers yesterday and nothing was going to cheer me up. I guess I just needed to be a little fed up with my current lot as I am trying so fecking hard to be cheerful and upbeat about stuff that it just hit me sad.gif

Ah well, as Ed said last night, there are plenty of other jobs and obviously this one wasn't meant to be.

Still no word from Bradford. I'm not sure I want to ring them now as well as emailing them. I might leave it a few days and see. It's still July after all wink.gif

I've seen something else I am going to apply for too in Leeds so all the finger crossing and gothy cheerleading is very much appreciated laugh.gif
