I'm talking to a Portuguese fellow on the internet who recons the Rolling Stones weren't that famous or popular (silly country without acsess to music for 50 years). Please post here how famous they were and how much they rule.

*coughMediacough*
I'm sure they have access to music. I'd like to know what's popular in Portugal. I bet a whole lot of people there don't even know English. That means you should go to Portugal, teach English, and distribute Rolling Stones CDs. For the common good.

Meh, the 'Stones are okay, but I've found only one song by them that I really like, being "Paint it Black." My biggest complaints are that Jagger does not sing well (he constantly sounds out of key) and that they have an extremely bare bones sound, by which I mean they sound like a crappy guitarist, a bad singer, and a drummer. There are too few chords and not enough bass making. Added to that the fact that all of their stuff is recorded poorly (bad quality recording leads to bad quality sound) and I have to say that the Rolling Stones are only ok.

You can't expect good quality recording from that time.

And I think this is really more Daft than anything, but feel free to move it any people with the ability.

Of course PsychWardMike never hear Satisfaction.

I always seem to get 'Paint it Black' stuck in my head. It sounds a lot like every other song I get stuck in my head...
