I just thought I should share this rather significant victory with you, as probably none of you know I built a cowl on top of an oast house (not going to explain, google it if you're interested) and I got a rather nasty splinter off one of the pieces....i hate ply wood =/ anyway, this was coming toward the end of june and since then this splinter has been like a thorn in my side (well...a splinter in my finger) for the past 2 and a bit months, it's even been to america with me!! we had some good times but today after my (late) morning shower the decisive battle took place and I won using the classic tweezer manuvre, it got squeezed out like a rather large and woody blackhead, i have included a picture for your viewing pleasure, i'd say its at least 5mm long but you can make your own mind up (the green thing is 3/4 of my mini ipod just to help give a little perspective)

I once got a splinter underneath my nail from doh's front porch. It took forever to come out.

I'm glad you conquered your splinter! That'll teach em to mess with you laugh.gif

Neat!

What makes people want to show everyone else what they pull out of their bodies? blink.gif SPS is definitely not alone in this. . .
