Okay, so I've had a not so great couple of weeks and seem to be stuck in this bad mood. Though, whenever I talk to Righteous it seems to dissipate. I was just wondering what you guys all do to get out of your bad funks. laugh.gif tongue.gif

When I have time, I like to work out. Weight lifting is my favorite. I also like to play video games, talk with my friends, and generally fight. Other than that, I like to listen to music, I suppose.

I smoke. That usually calms me down. I rarely get stoned to get out of a bad mood. If that were the case, I might as well be drinking.

EDIT: Wait, you already know this.

I stick on some music. Really loud. And sit there without moving till I have to, or it goes away. And I keep doing this, between daily interruptions, until I feel better smile.gif

I have a long, extremely hot bath. I stay there until I feel better or my feet look about 75 years old, whichever comes first.

I think it's because it's the only place in my house where I can go and not be disturbed.

I usually just concentrate on other things, and end up happy anyway. I've not had a bad mood in a very long time, ever sinse I got Dace actually. I think he hoards them all in a cupboard somewhere, and is gonna sell them on e-bay at some point. See if he can't get a few more souls or something like that.

Point in case, though, I wonder if there's a market for my bad moods...

I listen to music. I created a few weeks ago the perfect minidisc for a bad mood. Starts with music matching my mood so loud shouty stuff. The general trend of my moods swings me to a low so it gradually leads into some depressing slow music. Then from there works up and brings me out of the bad mood. It really works for me.

Also I make things on the computer/play games.

I find that bluegrass covers of music is very calming. You're laughing too hard to be angry.

Find a kick pad and beat the hell out of it. If all else fails I'll jump on my bed with my 2 year old or we'll throw all the balls out of her ball pool.

The funny thing about little kids, particularly my little sister, is that they can either get me in a better mood or a worse mood.

I know exactly what you mean. I've got two kid sisters. I love 'em to bits, but my baby will always put me in a better mood. She's just kinda built that way blush.gif

When in the mood to kick puppies I:

-take a hot bath.
-wrestle the cat.
-drive randomly around the city.
-phone friends long distance for hours.
-clean the house.
-read a funny book. Terry Pratchet for preference.
-mentally go ahead and kick the puppies. RL brush the dog.

Yes. It's like a toyboy. But without the sex. Or limbs. And with the bonus inclusion of batteries, a backlit screen and a pair of camp Italian plumbers.

Add a bucket of marmalade and it sounds suspiciously like a cheap porn movie I once saw.

*was disapointed*

Music. Always music. Either I go driving and listen to music (driving is good to relax me, too) or - if the rest of the household are out - I play the piano very loudly. Or just sing sing sing.

laugh.gif I love it!

I normally work out or do something artsy - whether it be singing, drawing, etc.

If crew has got me mad I draw, sing, practice my music. If anything along the line of the arts has me mad I work out.

Music is always good though.

Speaking of which I could use some right now. My coach has kicked me down to the bottom boat with the promise of moving up due to my missing practices because of my totaled car.....

now she's taken back the seat racing oppertunity because she "doesn't feel like it"....

*grumbles* if my boat didn't need me to race with them on saturday I would've walked today-----

where's that bubble bath and game boy?
