Really there are alot of cheeses... My personal favourite is havarti.... mmmm tasty havarti. However one cannot ignore the deliciousness of gouda. Not so fond of blue cheese, moldy food seems wrong in a big way. Provalone is good, specially on sandwiches with chicken. There is nothing wrong with good ol fashioned cheddar, mmmmm asagio... If i got to choose a last meal it would be a whole platter of cheeses, minus the blue cheese..... mmmmm cheese....

It's a little known fact that cheese is the supreme master and overlord of the universe.... sneaky sneaky cheese....CHEESE!!!!

I'm not a big fan of cheese by itself...

I like Colby/Jack on Nachos,

Parmesan and Mozzerella on Italian foods, like Pizza...

Swiss goes well with Turkey, and Cheddar with Ham...

*Slurp* Excuse me, the refrigerator is calling... laugh.gif

Darn You! You're evil, you know it?

I also am a cheese feind. However, my taste is pretty restricted to mature cheddars (real ones), Red Leicester and some creamy french cheeses that you get in stupidly small plastic pots. rolleyes.gif I'll try anything once though, and cheap plasticy burger-cheese does have a weird appeal too, but it can't really be regarded as real cheese.

And as for your dislike of mouldy food, fish, remember that all cheese is essentially mould. tongue.gif

Ooo, they get me so angry sometimes...quite right there.
I like cheese...I'm having cheese and ham pasta, with grated cheese on, as I type. Mmm. It's good, too smile.gif
Again, it's a shame Cheese isn't around anymore, he'd agree 230%!

Cheese, eh? OK then, a bit of Roulle on a cracker doesn't go amiss, and hallumi makes a squeaky noise when you chew it. Mozzarella goes well in Paninis, and Margharita is another one o' dem pizza cheeses. I remember someone a while ago who thought 'Four Cheeses' was a type of cheese. OK, why not turn this into a game? You need to name a cheese which hasn't been named yet, until we run out of cheeses. The first is:

Edam.

OK, so now you can't name Edam, but all other cheeses are still available...

I used to hate cheese. The thought of a cheese sandwich would turn my stomach.

Nowadays, I'll keep cutting bits of the block whilst making a toastie or something. I like it fairly mild though.

Muenster is yuuuuuuumy!!! And I'm fond of dill havarti. And real Cheddar. And swiss. And...ah heck, the only cheeses that I can think of that I don't like are bleu and limburger!

I have to say, I think the American sense of taste is bloody sensitive, i had canneloni (sp?) in olive garden....didn't taste of...well...anything much, but god damn, I had New York Cheesecake on the plane, it HAS to be just suger and cream but it was SO good....and that was just plane food plane food! *makes note to get pixiegoth to bring some back*....does it travel well?

not quite (mind you) in orders of preference....and avoiding anything remotely Roquefortish sad.gif

--> a good Spanish asadero for melty things
----> a mild Camembert for when brie seems a bit too musty ..
--------> red leicester (but its been said, no? )

----> for swiss styles, probably i've got to have some emmentaler for the Monte Cristo sandwich
--> and a sheep milk feta with herbs for the light garden salads + vinaigrette
-----> a sharp provolone for when I tire of muenster (logic must have stopped there)
--------> good manchego but mmm. a bit pricey for what it is
----> gouda but mostly the aged dutch gouda
------> any good goat's milk cheese with olive oil and herbs

this only leaves about 6,000 more to be named , ,once had a Flying Circus computer game,,oh so
many years ago, and to start the game, you had to take a cheese test...funny I hadn't thought of
that game in 9 years.... anyone seen it ? it might still be around

Cheese is good. cheese is awesome. There should be a movie about it..
Although I usually rant about cheese at my school most of the time, I don't like any of it much.. I used to like munster but now it just seems so bland.
The only one I like now is white american chese..
mmmmm :F
Call me a cheese racist, but white american is awesome biggrin.gif

I like muenster...whee.

Several years back, a friend of mine would bring a slice of that fake, freakishly orange cheese in the plastic wrapping with her lunch every day. And somehow I got into the habit of carving faces into the cheese (as it was of course not edible) and throwing it at people while yelling "Evil flying staring cheese!" ....yes. Cheese has many uses.
