I would like to get a cat, as I believe in 'Pet Therapy' and that it can help in difficult situations.
However I am trying to write a letter to my landlord requesting permission, and need some 'medical' evidence that it actually helps people with Depression and Mental Health Issues. Does anyone have any reconisable links and information? It would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, I think I have the most eventful life yet!
My Boyfriend moved out last night, and today I lost my job.  I guess it was to be expected really, as I have been off 6 months, and the doctor is unclear on when I will be able to return to a job.I think in a way I am happy, but in a way I'm not, because if I ever was able to go back to work then I've got a job to go back to, but now I don't so I'm a little um, worried! So uhm Yayish for me?
