I hear tell they're working on a Wind Waker 2 (in that it'll use the same graphics and general bits and bobs as Wind Waker, like Majora's Mask did with Ocarina of Time), and I really hope it's set in old Hyrule. Wind Waker is beautiful, but I found the tiny islands surrounded in endless blue rather dull, whereas the cel-shaded Hyrule Castle interior was pretty amazing.

I've yet to play either Halo or GTA 3, which is somewhat upsetting. Boo.

i hated the fact taht you werent there in the game... but, it was cool because they could change the game that much, but still make it a great game...

I think the place is generally known as "Great Sea", islands and all. Oh, and you meet the king in Ocarina of Time, too. He doesn't have any hands then either. But he isn't a boat.

I liked Wind Waker. I agree that it'd be cool if it was set in Hyrule (proper Hyrule), but the way the game ends it doesn't seem like that'll happen. I didn't really get the ending..I expected Hyrule to suddenly appear from the water or something. So that was kinda odd.

Another thing I don't get..why the hell does the King Of Hyrule turn himself into a boat? I know that obviously there needs to be some way for Link to transport himself to different islands, but that was a bit surreal

does he transform into a boat? i thought he was just talking through it... did i miss something that big?

Well I didn't fully understand myself..but I'm pretty sure he does. I mean, the boat looks like him, and it can move it's head around, so it's not just a normal boat

but im pretty sure if he can make himself into a boat... he could just look and talk through the boat...

Hang on, I'm confused, are you arguing for or against that he turns himself into the boat now?

Another thing I thought was dumb was how the current sages were completely different species to the previous sages who were supposed to be their ancestors. Nintendo don't seem to understand evolution that well

Oh, and boat/king issue: I think it's a normal boat and the king's just magic. Magic explains everything. Magic is why Link's hair stays bouncy and full of volume even while he's swimming.

This is a great thing, though. Not only do we get Dreamcast sleeper hits rereleased but - ye gods! - three consoles are too much already, four would just be madness! Who could afford it! Think of the children, for the love of Glod, think of the children!

Yup, right, and for the cost of a top-o-the-line PC, you could've bought all 3 consoles, and a couple of GBAs to boot.

Aha... an the top of the line PC I bought 18 months ago is better than any of the consoles out now, an will prolly be better than the next gen ones too...

I really dun see the point in consoles. Yep, I coulda bought all three of em, but I'd still need a PC to do all the other stuff. As an infrequent gamer, the PC suits me better than any console ever could.

You ain't gonna sway me on this subject. I'd never use a console as much as I use a PC. Therefore, I believe I spent me cash more wisely, so the whole cost thing is a bit void...

Well there have been many schools of thought on the whole console v PC battle.

Yes the PC can produce better graphics mainly because the tech changes every few months as opposed to years.

The best things going for consoles:

1/ Just put the game in and play
2/ You get FINISHED games as opposed to the half finished versions PC developers love to bring out "We'll fix it in the next patch"
3/ The hardware is enough to play the game
4/ You can plug your console into your TV plug 4 pads in and have fun with your friends (Super monkey ball 2 )

Those are just a few that i can think off from the top of my head, i'm not totaly opposed to PC gaming (i'm a tourney admin for the UK's largest LAN party) but i just think consoles have there merits and i'll always be buying the latest and greatest ones (except the X-box)

It's a fair point, is that... but I prefer playin at LAN parties cos ya have a screen each...

Anyways, I think the console / PC argument is moot. Yer not comparin like wi like. OK, so a PC can play games, but it can do so much more too. It's like comparin an egg whisk wi a food processor. Sure, the egg whisk is better fer beatin eggs, but that's ALL it can do...

My sixteenth, I recieved an SNES. My parents went to a lot of work hunting that down, mainly because it had been my obsession since the age of four. I hung out at friend's houses to play that bloody machine all the damn day, and gods, I loved it.

Now, that thing is my most prized possession. No SNES bashing, it's my God!

I currently own a SNES anyway

snes = UBER!!! woo hehe... you cant beat an snes for allaround gameplay and enjoyment....

and as far as PCs go... i sorta dont like the fact taht games need patches... i played a game called EverQuest (dont play this game!! its addicting, and it will destroy your life!! i can tell you stories if you dont belive me!! AHHHHHHHH!!!) and there always a patch to fix something... and by something, i mean about 10 problems at a time... gah... patches = work of the devil

Just finished Zelda (on gamecube)...at last and i would just like to say WOW! that has to be the best boss battle in the history ever....ok, now time to complain, the marionette's were f*****g hard...ok just the last one, liked the ending, it had a good "oh" factor
