Since Bush was just re-elected (and I'm embarassed to call myself an American now) there's a lot of supreme court justices he's going to get to appoint within the next four years, isn't there?
I'm really worried about the future of this country.

They speculate he'll get to appoint at least two during this presidency. While important, it's not critical. You don't have a huge need to run the judiciary when you can control the laws by holding Congress and the Presidency. I also think the Court won't change much. I believe two conservative and possibly one liberal judge will step down. If that happens and Bush appoints all conservatives, the moderates will still have the swing power in the decisions.

Well, the optimism makes me feel a little better.
