Hmm, the description says it all really. What do you like on your pizza? How do you like your pizza (thin/thick base)? Do you even like pizza?

I like mine with mushrooms, pineapple, and looooooooooads of cheese. Thin base, none of this deep pan psuedo-pizza rubbish. I just had one by that description, as I can't cook anything. Evil drunk people have commandeered the kitchen for the purposes of practicing their projectile vomiting.

Anyway.... Discuss!
Black-Wings
hmmmmm.. I like thin crust.. and just plain margaritta... but with lots of herbs..
mooooooooooopo
Deep pan is sacrilege!

Margerita usually, or possibly the same with added pineapple or more recently the spiciest thing they have (as long as it's vegetarian.
TehRoxxorCOD
Thin crust, with just pepperoni... old school, but hey.
Forever Unknown
Just recently non-veggie, I'm not sure about toppings, although I seem to enjoy pepperoni.

However - Pizza Hut's stuffed crust? Yes please.
Righteous
Anchovies! Anchovies! Anchovies! My brother, friends and girlfriend HATE anchovies,, but God damn I love anchovies.
beleraphon
As long as I get olives I'm happy.

Proper italian pizza is best, nothing like the american style stuff you get delivered.
I like both but they are so different I'm amazed they can both be called pizza!
FurryMammal
Mushrooms and olives, and the usual other stuff like cheese.

But. *Deep breath*

I prefer deep pan!

*Runs and hides*
beleraphon
Deep pan is nice, but its not the same as the stuff you get in italy.

I like it, but I think of it as a differnt food to what I consider pizza, like the difference between instant coffee and real coffee, they taste so different to me that I consider them as 2 different drinks.

You like deep pan with mushrooms thats cool - can I steal a slice? wink.gif
Snugglebum the Destroyer
Ohhh - this is easy!

Usually, ALWAYS thin base, mushrooms, sweetcorn, peppers, onions and extra garlic.

If we're going specialist then it's chilli con carne or kebab meat with onions and peppers.

I'm hungry now. biggrin.gif

I love pretty much anything on pizza. I've actually only had anchovies once, to see what they were like, and I lked them, they were pretty good. We had a couple of slices left over though, and after a reheat later on, they were horrible. Anchovies are better fresh it seems. tongue.gif

Usually though, I prefer mushrooms (I'm a mushroom fiend, I just absolutelly love them biggrin.gif) with peperoni and lots and lots of cheese. I like pan pizza, but I will eat just about any kind of crust.

Oh and I've had italian pizza too and it is simply delicious. smile.gif
monosodiumglutemate
well, my favorite pizza toppings HAVE to be...
bacon, lettuce, mayo, &tomato!
*drools*
BLT pizza pwns all other pizzas! any day of the week!
Sir Psycho Sexy
Probably sacrilidge...but hell it's DAMN good, has anyone tried the Dominos Double Decadance? It is worth it biggrin.gif
gothictheysay
Cheese. I mean insane amounts of cheese. Stuffed crust is okay. But the thing I care most about is cheese. Sausage is rather good too, but I do not think you could put too much cheese on my pizza. Heck, maybe I'll just eat the hunk of cheese and not the rest.
Quoth(The Raven)
Pepperoni, Beef and sauteed Mushrooms... Yum!
snooodlysnoosnoosnoodle
Mushroom and Sweetcorn on a thin base, not too much tomato sauce stuff... every time.

I don't think I've had a pizza (other than just plain margarita) with any other topping for years... I'm so sad.
El Nino
Mushroom, Pepperoni, Bacon, and is that Badger, cat or hamster, oh it's sausage.
Moosh
thin crust, and then anything except pineapple
Righteous
I'm not a big fan of pizza that's crispy or crunchy. I like my pizza soft and, if possible, thick and bread-like. Pizza Hut pizza is a good example.
snooodlysnoosnoosnoodle
In that case Ri, never go to Italy.

I love Italian pizza becasue it's crispy, my only problem with it is the amount of herbs, I can't stand herbs and the oregano on pizza makes my mouth hurt.

Good thing about Italy; hot chocolate you can stand a spoon in because it's so thick... mmm
Righteous
There's this one indescribably kick-ass pizza joint here in town called Moon River Pizza. Spiffy, Aislinn and I love the place. The pizza there is, for lack of a better word, amazing. It's not special, but at the same time it is. I can't explain it; Moon River has to be experienced. Come on by, y'all, and eat with us. We have some nice couches at my house. biggrin.gif
Gouge Away
I'm addicted to pepperoni with peppers and onions from a takeaway near uni. Needs to be thin base and not too much cheese, I don't actually like cheese but I can live with it on a Pizza. Four cheese is my worst nightmare unsure.gif
Righteous
Dude, cheese kicks ass. CHEESE! CHEESE! CHEESE!
Daedalus
Hahaha. There are two (count them, TWO) pizza houses actually on campus here in Lancaster. About a 2 minute walk from my room, and they're both delicious. Muhahahahah. They more than make up for the shoddiness of the Chippie.

On a completely irrelevant note, we also have a place called 'The Wibbly Wobbly Burger Bar' blink.gif

And I agree with Ri, you can't go wrong with cheese.
Wyvern
Oh I have to agree with Ri CHEESE RULES ABSOLUTELY!

Pizza however is still in need of many other goodies in my eyes to be worthy, a nice thin garlic or herb base with meat is a good start.

Im not picky so long as it is meat and not those strange pink plasticy cubes some places insist on labelling ham or worse the grey brown chunks they try and pass off as chicken! *backs away fearfully* ph34r.gif

Also: Mushrooms, peppers, pineapple, capers, chilli's, prawns and always, ALWAYS OLIVES!

Has anyone here experienced the divine creation that is the sweet pizza?
Marshmallow fluff instead of cheese and many items of gooey, melty sweetness. happy.gif

Many many years ago I had a chocloate sauce and marshmallow pizza (FU should remember that too). It was marketed with the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles when they were at the height of popularity.
Daedalus
Ooh, I think I had one of those once (struggling to remember). Don't think it was marshmallowy though (have to try that...). I think it was apple. Something green and toxic looking anyway.

I've put Hershey Kisses on my pizza before. It actually tasted rather nicely, suprisingly.

Im going to have to try that next time I get near Hershey's would Cadbury's buttons work do you think? OOO! hundreds and thousands now they'd add crunch and colour! laugh.gif
Opium
I used to have an unhealthy pineapple-pizza-fetish, but after two weeks of eating nothing but pineapple pizza in Maine, up where society almost falls apart, I can't stand it anymore.

Mushrooms.
Xkitsurabamix
my friend Jeremy ordered pineapple and ham pizza, and i've got to admit- - -it was tasty.
Still can't take me from my extra cheese and black olives fetish, though.
Ahh....it's soo good!
the lil' pie fairy
Umm...ground beef, peppers, mushrooms, extra cheese and bacon, if available. I like meaty pizza toppings.
But the mushrooms are the most important.
You hear??? *twitches* I haven't had mushrooms since yesterday sad.gif

Papa John's makes a good pizza in our neighborhood. I'm good with almost anything but do not like onions or anchovies. I usually go for pepperoni and mushroom. What is sweetcorn? I don't think they offer that topping out here.

Edit: Spinach and feta cheese makes a really good veggie pizza. biggrin.gif

DQ makes a frozen pizza like confection. Chocolate wafer crust, soft ice cream, and assorted bits & bobs of candy/chocolate. It's okay but nothing phenomenal.

I've never had Cadbury's buttons. What are those like? I should try them both with and without pizza.

I haven't had one of those DQ pizzas in years. To the best of my recollection, it tasted nicely. The DQ here doesn't make them unfortunately.

And I am boycotting Papa John's. They fired me when they mixed up my vacation times and I was fired for visiting my girlfriend when I told them I already had plans to do so.
Jaq
oooo... I love pizza that has broccoli, marinated artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, roma tomatos, feta, mozza, black olives and as a sauce you put the juice from the artichoke hearts on the crust.

It's so good... *drools* I could go for some right now... Obviously you can't order it... you have to make it at home. Or at least you can't order it from any places that I know of.

Some of the worst pizza I've had in living memory: we ordered a hawaiin pizza which showed up with a surly delivery guy and sweet pickles (that we didn't want so he end up throwing violently down the stairs). We ate half in the dark and it tasted a bit odd. So we turned on the lights and it turned out that there was no ham on it, but there was an entire dole fruit cup that had been dumped on it. Complete with marascino cherries in the middle...

Omigod, do you live in York or Lincoln???? Or are you in the USA...I can't remember. Some friends went to York and Lincoln, and said Papa John's in one of them did the nicest pizza ever. Just wondering... smile.gif
Pixelgoth
Absolutely anything. I'm not kidding. I will pretty much eat anything (edible) on a pizza biggrin.gif

I'm in Alberta - not Ontario. We're about three provinces to the west. biggrin.gif I've found it depends on the Papa John's that you order from whether or not it's any good. There's one in the Northeast Calgary that I don't care for at all. When I'm visiting friends over there we get pizza from a Mom & Pop type place that also does fantastic chicken wings. The hot wings are hit and miss. Sometimes they're not very spicy and other times they melt metal figuratively speaking.

They're not much really just little buttons of chocolate but they melt well, plus they get a bit addictive especially the white ones! Hmm, perhaps a mixture of buttons and hersheys mmm...

Also on consideration all savoury pizzas need at least four cheese varieties just to keep me entertained with those yummy stringy bits! tongue.gif

Sweetcorn...on pizza?!!

British food really does intrigue me. Earlier today Moop and Cath informed me that there is, indeed, such a thing as battered pineapple.

Anyway...I like seafood pizza. Seafood is the only meat I'll eat on a regular basis. Basically on the pizza it's a garlic alfredo sauce, with baby shrimp, and smoked clams and mussels, and lots of cheese, onions, and broccoli. The place that made it here went out of business, though. sad.gif So I have to make it myself, because I can't find it anywhere else.

Aside from that, I like onions, mushrooms, olives, green peppers kinda, lots of cheese....and a deep-dish crust. Thin crust is okay, but I grew up with deep dish and am just more used to it. Also, I prefer garlic alfredo sauce to regular tomato sauce, no matter what is on the pizza. Oh! and I also like those gardenburger crumble things (basically veggie burgers to use in recipes that involve ground beef)...or cutting up the gardenburger bbq chick'n and spreading it over the pizza.

...now I'm hungry.
rika-chan
Ive got to agree with beleraphon on the fact that real good italian pizza can not be beat. *drool* but.. while i wait for my flight to italy (which probably wont happen for a few years) i like olives....mushrooms...m.... and everything spicy ^__^ ~oh ye.. and green peppers~ just buy the vege. it works best. I really dont care about crusst, but i dun like the cheese stuffed very much >.< too much effort! for something like food?! --._--
SPEAKERfortheLOST
