Well I have my very own shiny new personal private university e-mail account with the fastest internet access in most of britain and more protection than farmer joe's daughters. Yah!

There's also the point that when you get yourself a .co.uk hotmail address everyone will automatically type in .com instead and a stranger will end up reading your mail.

Only stupid people will do that, so it's a good thing. I don't want their crap.

I just have my address deleted email now that I gave my address deleted email to my mother. In the old days I used to switch back and forth so that all my spam would be bounced back to the spambots when Yahoo automatically de-activated my account.

And my emails are already harvested by spambots! I was extremely stupid with my email when I first got on the net and it's been on the lists for years and years, so it's pretty pointless to try to protect it. But thankfully Yahoo's new features have a pretty good sense of what's spam and what's good, so all the spam gets put into my bulkmail folder. I get around 3k or so in bulkmail a day!

Yahoo marks all gmail stuff as spam! Guess they don't like competition! But I got my gmail at my favorite name, so I'm a very happy girlie! Gmail looks amazing! Everything looks so professional and clean! And they even give you a walkthrough for making Outlook Express check them! ::is tickled pink and all sorts of other colors::

Once again I'd like to remind people, PLEASE DON'T POST YOUR FULL EMAIL ADDRESS IN ITS PROPER FORM ON THIS BOARD!

The reason for this is that this site is scanned by search engines constantly, which means that it is also picking up lots of spiders looking for people's email addresses.

What this means for you is that if you post your email address on here with the correct punctuation then you are very likely to turn up on junk mail lists and there is nothing I can do about this.

So... change the @ symbol to something like {at] (use different brackets because the spiders may have got smart enough to spot '(at)' now) and change the dots into the word 'dot'.
