Why not get a Gmail account instead? They are far, far better and you get 500 times more storage space.

There's also the point that when you get yourself a .co.uk hotmail address everyone will automatically type in .com instead and a stranger will end up reading your mail.

Only stupid people will do that, so it's a good thing. I don't want their crap.

I don't suppose one of ya'll still has a Gmail invite knocking around?
::likies the Gmail idea but didn't get into beta::
I just have my address deleted email now that I gave my address deleted email to my mother. In the old days I used to switch back and forth so that all my spam would be bounced back to the spambots when Yahoo automatically de-activated my account.

Yes, yes I do. One winging it's way to you now. BTW, I've edited your post because it'll be harvested by spambots in no time otherwise...

Once again I'd like to remind people, PLEASE DON'T POST YOUR FULL EMAIL ADDRESS IN ITS PROPER FORM ON THIS BOARD!
The reason for this is that this site is scanned by search engines constantly, which means that it is also picking up lots of spiders looking for people's email addresses.
What this means for you is that if you post your email address on here with the correct punctuation then you are very likely to turn up on junk mail lists and there is nothing I can do about this.
So... change the @ symbol to something like {at] (use different brackets because the spiders may have got smart enough to spot '(at)' now) and change the dots into the word 'dot'.

Thanks for however DIDN'T do mine. But I don't care. Nope. I don't. None at all. I still haven't got an email in my hotmail inbox though, because well I haven't given it out anywhere else yet. Me is lazy.
But that would explain the strange "Googlebot" right?
Mata
Dec 10 2004, 03:26 PM
Oops, I missed that one. Genuine mistake... So why haven't you changed it yourself using the 'edit' button?
And yes, Googlebot, Ask Jeeves, and numerous other visitors are search engines scanning the forums.

Just to let everyone know that my msn has been playing up all day so I made a new account (although I doubt it'll take over my old one) so if littlepinkstars [at) hotmail [dot) co [dot) uk has added you to your msn it's just me!
Sorry.
