Hmm, I forgot my official title in here. Something to do with spangly underwear. *thwacks Speaker upside the head with spangly pants and wanders off to make grog for Cath*
Edit: CM has just informed me that I am the official delicate flower. There's no way I'm thwacking him with that.

Ohh, you have one of those too? We should keep our evil twins away from one another...they could get into mischief with that tear!
Wyvern
May 31 2006, 07:18 PM
Evil twins? There's me thinking that was just you lot being honest about your hobbies for a change.
*Pets black scuttler* Now can anyone explain why the poor wee thing has such horrendous hiccups? Void incarnate it may be but I'm pretty sure hiccups like THAT aren't such a good sign.*looks concerned, tries to peer into scuttlers mouth* Damn its so dark in there...
Cath Sparrow
Jun 1 2006, 04:21 PM
Hmm... I.m really not sure hiccups in a void based scuttler is good..... and I'm really not sure you should be looking in there Wyvern.......

Can I come in if I promise to be <insert level of innocence and niceness of your choice here>?

You dont need innocences and niceness you need a destructive mentality.

All are welcome.
{Gothic Angel}
Jun 2 2006, 06:21 PM
Eeeexcellent... A level chemists should be right at home then?
Cath Sparrow
Jun 3 2006, 02:20 PM
Yup definatly. If you like turning the place your inhabbiting at the moment into a void you'll feel right at home and if you ask Wyvern nicely she may even let you adopt a scuttler. Why you'd want I'm unsure but the option is there.
Faerieryn
Jun 3 2006, 07:38 PM
And if you're interested in chemistry you should talk to Smiler. He's our bar man!!!
{Gothic Angel}
Jun 3 2006, 08:21 PM
I should show him some of the Cambridge Sci Fi society's alcoholic beverage concoctions. He'd like those. They include sensible ones like the "Physics" and the "Aardvark", ranging all the way down to something I think involves engine oil and bike chains.
They burn nicely
Faerieryn
Jun 18 2006, 09:34 PM
Burning is good. We like burning in here... Although the brighter coloured the fluid the better. Oh yeah and add some spangles. It's more fun that way
Wyvern
Jun 29 2006, 10:48 PM
Burn baby burn!
Ohh do you think something like that would help with illuminations?
*peers in scuttlers mouth*
You know these hiccups aren't improving they should've died out by now....

Spangles?! I have some!!! *Opens a tin of emergency spangles and empties it*
Ohhhhh look it changes colour when it burns!!! *sits down and starts muttering to the fire*

Do black scuttlers like burning engine oil? Cos, y'know, purely hypothetically, it would be a way of lighting things up
Faerieryn
Jul 3 2006, 07:48 PM

Ohh nice idea worth trying if I can track the dark one down, it was last seen still hiccuping heading in the direction of the basement with a legth of rope...I didn't like to ask but I'm pretty sure that the hiccuping needs to be stopped soon or we'll all have problems and as I haven't yet acquired a Weyr here in Liverpool rehousing the survivors may prove tricky.
Faerieryn
Jul 20 2006, 07:51 PM
I have one small black furry scuttler. Her name is Evie and she goes bonkerson anything even vaguely funky looking
Smiler
Jul 21 2006, 12:52 PM
So you say one of the minions erm... lovely free scuttlers going down there drunk while I was unconcious... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil
They did leave a nice note saying it was all a joke though... apparently a scuttler initiation. Was that in their original programming?
Cath Sparrow
Jul 21 2006, 09:00 PM
I get the definate idea we are way past the original programming Smiler dear.
Faerieryn
Jul 23 2006, 05:46 PM
Yeah well that's what you get for being head scuttler!!!!
Smiler
Jul 24 2006, 01:03 PM
oh dear oh dear - When's Wyvern coming out with the Scuttler 5.8 revision guide... I'm sure the AI was a bad idea...
Faerieryn
Jul 24 2006, 10:24 PM
There's a user guide???? When did that come out?
Smiler
Jul 26 2006, 07:54 AM
I dont think it ever has...ahem... Wyvy???

Faerieryn
Jul 29 2006, 07:25 PM
Indeed we are. And planning world domination
Erin
Jul 30 2006, 02:47 AM
ooohhh..i wanna help.
Faerieryn
Jul 30 2006, 08:44 PM
Yes World Domination is the plan. We must first however com up with a reeeeeeeally sneaky way of getting the scuttlers to do our bidding AND NOT the other way round!!!
Smiler
Jul 31 2006, 12:36 PM
I've been trying dammit but the stu... lovely useful little tinkers are being tricky...
Faerieryn
Aug 2 2006, 11:45 AM
Tricky is a scuttler's middle name!
Spangles are their geatest weakness however. I propose a plan my dearest Smiler. Your chemistry/ drink mixing plus my spangles may tame the savage beast!!!!
Smiler
Aug 2 2006, 12:32 PM
Hmmm. me thinks a special scuttler brew is in order
Cath Sparrow
Aug 3 2006, 12:34 PM
I'm really not sure that you could class Spangles as one of there weaknesses isn't that what cause some of this chaos in the first place Scuttlers eatting spangles?
Smiler
Aug 3 2006, 01:26 PM
Scutler-Spangles, Scutgles, Spanglers OH DEAR GOD DONT FEED THEM SPANGLES or feed the spangles scuttlers... I'm still not sure which is worse... at least scuttlers dont stick around on your clothes/ body for days with their invisibility skill and suddenly glimmer when you least expect it... erm...
oh no... too many bad ideas voiced at once... why dont I see ANY of this ending prettilly
Cath Sparrow
Aug 3 2006, 05:18 PM

Faerieryn
Aug 3 2006, 08:37 PM
Very pretty. Spangles make everything pretty!!!

Aug 4 2006, 01:45 AM
Scuttlers? Spangles? This place is on its way to making its own language!
Faerieryn
Aug 4 2006, 07:37 PM
It does indeedy! For the language of the tribe is indiginous to its poplous!!!!!
