Um, I believe that this belongs in media.
I fail to understand why Code Lyoko and Teen Titans were on there and not Read Or Die or Yu Yu Hakusho. Either way, I voted for Cowboy Bebop.

PWM's right. Teen Titans technically isn't anime. It's a poor imitation of anime.

As Dragonball Z is the only one I've even heard of that's the one i'll vote for (anime seems to me to be not very big in britain)

anime in the uk's pretty big underground, but that's about it.. I love trigun it's brilliant.. I'd prefer to see hellsing up there though. (and hellsing the anime had nothing to do with that van hellsing film I had no love for)

Yeah, Teen Titans isn't Anime - It's Anime flavored. Kinda like those chocolates that come out on Holidays that read "Chocolate flavored" that are really only plant fats and Cocoa. When I want chocolate, I want chocolate. When I want Anime, I want Anime. That said, I still think that TT is pretty good... but not Anime.

I'm actually not dissing Teen Titans. My brother and I get a kick out of it, but it's just as much anime as the Powerpuff Girls. I'm also a fan of Witchhunter Robin. Though a shoutout goes to Ruroni Kenshin, Full Metal Alchemist, and Case Closed.
Keep on the lookout for Mata ranting and raving aboot Ghost in the Shell.
Kiddy Grade. Def. Plus, I haven't seen most of the ones listed. I don't get cable.

does that mean you don't watch Cable or you don't understand it?

.hack is most definitely my favorite. Haibane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain are close second/third (Yoshotoshi ABe is my hero), and Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist) is up there too.

Hellsing, Noir, Ghost in the Shell, Rurouni Kenshin's alright (the ending arc disillusioned me a bit).....I could rattle on for hours, but of those def. Cowboy Bebop. Who doesn't love someone who's out for money for himself, but in the process actually helps people? Though Fae's really my favorite of the series......err, I'll stop now.

Witchunter Robin is wicked awesome, but I think that perhaps I would take a little too much pleasure in the Petshop of Horrors anime that seems to only exist in the world's collective imagination (although supposedly I know someone who knows someone who has it)... Anyone seen it?

Seen Petshop. Have it on videotape and in some form of digital video on my harddrive. It's only four episodes long (because that's how many were made, not because the story's resolved) but is wickedly dark and has some entertaining moments.

Bull. Puffy AmiYumi, the Japanese pop group that sings the Titans theme song, sings the entire thing in English. Badly pronounced English, but English nonetheless.

Yay for Cowboy Bebop!

Um... there are two themes for the Teen Titans, I believe. The second, in Japanese, I believe, probably does not translate like that, but it is to the best of my knowledge, in Japanese

I'm not a fan of anime at all. I'm not sure of the difference between it and manga, but the only anime/manga I've seen that I liked is Ghost in the Shell.
Then I saw VanDread. So crap it was brilliant. I don't know if actual anime fans would like it, but I recommend it to everyone else.

Serial Experiments Lain, Wolf's Rain, Bebop, Witch Hunter Robin, Shinseiki Evangelion, Akira, all Ghibli, all Satoshi Kon.
Anyone who likes Ghost in the Shell should definately look for Lain and Akira.

I don't know about teen titans (bah) but the OAV Dragon Half's theme song really is that bizarre. If anyone else even knows what I'm talking about.

I recently started watching an anime called My Hime (舞HiME) and I

it. The English dub of FMA is hard to watch, I can't stand the voices. I do like the show though. Also, I can't stand Code Lyoko, and Raven is the
only reason to watch Teen Titans.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is about to be at the top of my list...just as soon as I finish it.
Right now however, I have become HORRIBLY addicted to Naruto. I mocked Naruto fandom for a looooong time and refused to watch it. It seemed too "Dragon Ball" for me. But then I watched it. And didn't stop. I'm on Episode 80 now. Naruto is everything DBZ *WISHED* it was and more. And besides...the band Asian Kung Fu Generation did the second intro and they rule.
.Hack//sign *WAS* pretty cool. WAAAY better then the games. Though you kind of HAVE to play the games to finish the storyline.
Noir is also one of my favorites. The music (Kajiura rocks!) the animation the stories the characters. Everything. Gorgeous.
Any Xenosaga fans out there? The anime just started airing in Japan and they're up to Episode 3 there...I've got all three subtitled now from fansubbers...its bizarre...some of it's cool (they condense 4 hours of gameplay into one episode!) but some is just....what were they thinking? Just had to get that off of my chest.

It's always hard to make an anime that's based off of a game, and vice verse, but Xenosaga's defiantely up there qith the oddness. If you like games based off of anime, and anime based off of games, might I suggest watching Tales of Symphonia? (forgive me, I forget which of the two came first)
And yes, I have been known to walk around campus and randomly start whistling (sp?) or humming the Noir opening. *contented sigh*

There's a Tales of Symphonia anime? I knew about the Tales of Eternia anime...or am I just getting confused now?
And of course Noir's music rocks. It's done by Yuki Kajiura. And she is goddess supreme of anime music.
